What a frustrating looking team to watch, and I'm not even a supporter!

These guys look good on EPL teams individually but together...

Chokers of Euro? I'd hope not!

Weak Dutch accuracy and at best average defending, decided the match more than anything IMHO

Poor Sneijder. He's been the only bright spot.

No handball? Looked like his arm was up and away from his body... I think Gooch (?) had a much less obvious one called against him in the USA friendly vs. Brazil.

They have no finishers other than Sneijder... Robben is a weapon but not an accurate one... sometimes he and Van Persie rival Gomez with how many chances they choke away.

No creativity near or inside the box by the dutch, very repeative attacking pattern

Denmark never committed more than 3 players to attack

Surprised no one has whined about Danes playing "anti-football" yet.

its a bit saying that Netherlands had 29 shots, 6 within the woodwork, and Denmark had 7 shots, 4 within the woodwork ...

I'm betting on accuracy training in the Dutch camp tomorrow

That was great! Wow Netherlands have lost :D Could be their endgame against Germany...

And the offense was bullshit. Persie, Robben, Huntelaar, van der Vaart, Sneijder....that's definitely too much!

But Danes weren't doing that... Every chance they had they threatened. No anti-football here! Smart football is more accurate.

Its not anti-football when you're playing compact and defensive when you know the opponent, on paper at least, is the superior team

Well all in all Denmarks style of play was slow and brutal for the eyes ^^ But it was effective...shouldn't have been though! Netherlands had almost a million chances...

After WC 2010, no sane Dutch fan would utter a word about negative football. God I hate that term.

Third good game out of three- this EC is going to be the diametrical opposite to WC 2010- Great football!

Now I'm not that surprised by the danish side win, afterall they're one of the big 10 internationals, and former champion (1992), and since then they've beaten just about every team, and played 1/4 finals in the big cups. Of course The Netherlands are a tier up, but had Denmark been in any other group, they'd probably been the favourites.

Groug of Death still very much open.. But if Denmark beats Portugal, it's gonna be a close standing. I'm overly excited about the Holland-Germany game - two of my favourite teams in the world, and fine by me, that the final is played already :D Maybe Denmark-Russia in the next round?

People complaining about the Danes playing anti-football? Seriously? What game were you watching? I thought they played some very nice football, particularly in breaking the Dutch pressure by passing out of the back. Great stuff (except for that horrific pass by the goalie)

The Danes were EXCELLENT in transition, especially in transitioning from offense to defense. This result really shouldn't surprise anyone who's been paying attention. The Danes are really a force to be reckoned with -- so far so good for my surprise semifinal pick :)
