Is it me or has the potency of Nestle Quick(Chocolate) diminished? I remember when I was a young kid I used to put 2 spoons of the good stuff and it would taste pretty good. These days I have to put in 4 in order to make it chocolatey enough. Anyone else notice this? Are they just trying to make me buy more? I tried Milo and Ovaltine but its just not the same. Specially Milo which doesnt seem to dissolve very well.
Best chocolate milk powder ever. Can't tell you where to get it in the U.S. though... As for Nestle Quick, the American version always tasted inferior to me.
Interesting subject. Problem is that most of them are not real chocolate. I am sticking to the real stuff. iougs-
I feel your pain and fully agree. I don't know if this was a specifically Dutch product but as a child I used to prefer Benco, which wasn't powdery like Nestle Quick but chocolate granules which also were very nice on icecream. I want Benco back in the stores!
Hey, what about NesQuik's Very Vanilla powdered drink? I can drink this stuff WITHOUT milk...period. That means no cow's milk, soymilk, goat milk, sheep's milk, or even horse's milk. NO MILK PERIOD! NO CHOCOLATE EITHER!!!
Blech! I hate those "strawberry" things. When it comes to strawberries for me, it has to be the real thing.
They call it NesQuik now, instead of Nestle's Quick. That pisses me off. I also believe it doesn't come in the metal container anymore that you had to use your spoon to get off. Bastards. Hey, check out www.nesquick.com. If I was on drugs, I could appreciate that.
That was great. Do you remember the little puff of powder that would waft up at you when you pried that sucker up?
