Hi, everyone. Your friendly Screaming Eagles Ticket Mistress is writing to let you know that tickets are available in the Nest for the DC United v Aguila match on October 26. First come, first served, although if you are a season ticket holder, you will have first dibs on your regular seat(s). We're charging our regular discounted $19 per seat, with no extra service charges. I'd prefer cash and carry (pay when you pick up your tickets at the SE ticket kiosk), but if you'd like to use a credit card, that would be okay, too. Please place your order by sending an e-mail message to tickets@screaming-eagles.com. Let me know how many tickets you'd like, where you'd like to sit, and how you're paying. If you're using a credit card, please include the card number, expiration date, your name as it appears on the card, your address and phone number (very important if you are not a season ticketholder). DC United will process the credit card orders sometime after the match. The deadline for ordering tickets in advance is 4pm on October 25. I'll be in Palm Springs Oct 17-20, but will respond to any messages sent during that time as soon as I return. On match day, tickets will be available at the SE ticket booth for $22 each, cash only. C.D. Aguila is one of El Salvador's top clubs. In November 2000, United beat them 2-1 on a pair of goals by none other than Raul Diaz Arce. Let's see what happens this time. PS 2003 season ticket information will be sent soon after the Aguila match. Please don't ask me about the USA-El Salvador game on November 17 because I still don't know if we're selling tickets. This is an excellent opportunity to try out the Nest if you're deciding where you want to sit next year. If you're worried about safety at this game, the Nest is a good place to be as you're surrounded by home fans. Come out and support the home team (and possibly say goodbye to some players). K
OK, this will get you guys in the SE Nest!: my cousin is an SE and American U Jr and will be bringing 15 members of the AU women's field hockey team on Sat (his girlfriend plays on the team). You can check out the chica's here http://www.american.edu/athletics/fhockey/roster.html K
