Mexican stand-off? http://www.mcfc.co.uk/default.sps?pageid=115&pagegid=%7BAA113D0F%2DB095%2D4F9A%2D86F3%2D058F81E5ECFB%7D&newsid=447186&siteid=&pageno=&newscategory=&frommonth=5&fromyear=2007&tomonth=7&toyear=2007
Good stuff. Hopefully this will all be sorted out soon. I don't think that Man City is that bad of a move for him. He'd definitely get playing time and it could set him up for a bigger move later. I don't know why he'd want to go to Chelsea or Real Madrid. There's no way that he'd start there right away.
Somone give FC Porto a call, they're Portuguese Champions. And Nery would be starter there.. He can start for Lazio...Champions League next season.. He can even possibly be a starter for Roma...Champions League next season... Heck, even Everton would be better then Manchester City. I guess beggers can't be choosers tho..

estos gueyes estan medio safados cuando corrieron a Alex y contrataron a Sven? http://www.laopinion.com/deportes/futbol/?rkey=00000000000002017190
i'm glad Nery would be going to a club where he will see some pitch time. Nery's played Midfield for olympiakos, but prefers to play striker as Hugo gave him a chance to show that he obviously can. since anelka's departure, Man City's been aching for a promising finisher. i'd definately rather see him weaving through the likes of terry, senderos, neville, than sit and watch players like drogba, rooney, and owen score the goals he would have scored. good for him. but we shall see what happens. olympiakos isn't a bad club.
Last year was the first year ever that Nery started over 7 games for Olympiacos. 05-06 Nery Started 2 games 04-05 Nery Started 6 games 03-04 Nery Started 7 games 02-03 Nery Started 3 games But finally they gave him a chance last season, he started 12 games, was subbed 13 games, and scored 12 goals.
I just rented FIFA 07 after waiting for somebody to return it at the video store, and I was playing it, and I noticed something weird, in the game it says Nery is right footed and plays defensive midfield??? Weird eh?
fifa games are made in canada. by ronaldinho nut riders. you should download the squad updates. lotsa things are fixed. you want a real trippy FIFA 07 roster flip? look for Materazzi.
Well, i can see him playing a mixture of AM/SS at COMS. Me badly, badly, badly, badly lack a creative bone in the entire team. Hopefully Nery can provide that *fingers crossed*.
15 Million Euros , wow http://www.greeksoccer.com/news/new...ull&id=1185379503&archive=&start_from=&ucat=1&
Olympiakos should definitely accept the offer.. I doubt that his price would go up even if he has another good season at Olympiakos...
well its for my ye olde school PS2, so I cant download anything. But I will take a look at Materazzi Anyways, Wherever Nery goes I hope he gets good experience so he can be an even greater player for El Tri
Just read the article, Where does it say anything about 15 Mil Euros ?? They'd have to be daft to say no. And to the above poster, Geo i believe is very creative, But Carlos Vela doesn't play for us ..Maybe he is a transfer target though (the name seems familiar)
I don't think Vela is a transfer target of Man City, he's owned by Arsenal but can't make it to England yet because of problems getting a work permit.
well now it 10ME Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has reportedly agreed a £10million fee with Olympiakos for Mexico striker Nery Castillo. http://msn.foxsports.com/soccer/story/7053398
