Just to be clear.. I wasn't speaking for my self when i said #1, I was talking about the Marlboro cowboy.. ..
Btw, after this transfer window\injuries Shakhtar have only 2 capable forwards left, we have no other choice exept inviting 17 y.o. academy boys. If Nery decided to stay he definetly would be at least regular substitution. While ex-shakhtar newcomer forward immediately became starter in dnipro and prevents Nery to get minutes there. What an evil irony. Well, usual thing in Nery's case. PS: While members have sense of humor NNR will never die.
that's just bad luck. I hope this helps as an example to other Mexican players who get too greedy and choose money over quality, specially in their prime years. When Nery is liberated,he will be close to his 30's
I can't understand for the life of me why Nery thinks smoking is a good idea. I used to be able to run a mile under 5:40 at my peak. After I started smoking bogies...I can't walk up a flight of stairs without getting winded. This dude thinks he can be a top notch player while smoking a pack a day? Foolish.

I honestly don't think we'll ever see the Nery of old again. We might as well delete this thread. He's done.
On radio deportivo they were saying that nerry was close to switching teams again? They were going to say the team but I had to go to work...
Another famous footballer who lived a healthy lifestyle. Mr. "I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered"
All these guys played in an era where physical conditioning was not what it is today. What great athlete do you know in any other sport who smokes a pack a day? I'm sure they must be some, but not the best. Maybe he does it to forget about his small barbie doll bed.
