Well the situation is quiet weird at the moment. Aris wanted to terminate the contract with Castillo but he didn't want to, only if he would get all the money of the remaining contract (1,5 years left). Of course can't give all that money at once to him. So it looked like he would only leave if any club wants to buy. A scenario not very possible to happen with his performances and attitude this season. Today the situation changed though, as it looks. Castillo and his brother had a meeting with the board and apparently it went well (for him I guess) and Aris is now thinking about bringing him back in to the team. Giving him one more chance since they want to try to get the most out of this big investment. I think it might be good to add that the coach is not sitting very safely after another bad result, he also been criticized for his relationship with the players. I'll keep you updated... EDIT: Well that was a quick. Probierz will no longer be the coach of ARIS. It will be official later today. That was a short stint for the Polish manager. I guess that makes Castillo's chances of playing for the club again much bigger. I really hope we pick a experienced coach, someone like Cuper. Young and upcoming coaches like the last two doesn't really work for us.
Couldn't they loan him out and have another team play his salary? At least the club would not spend more money and cut their losses
they just cant not pay him. they signed the contract just like he did. shouldve put a clause for sucking to get out, lol.
with everything this guy has been going through, it's a damn reality tv show in the making fuck the Kardashians
Yeah of course they can't just stop paying him. That has never been a option either. Unfortunately they signed a 2 year contract so he can just sit on it not doing a shit. Usually the player ask for a amount to break the contract if the club no longer wants him. He asked for next years money too though. The club can't just pay the biggest contract to someone not even playing so somehow they tried to find a solution to that. But anyhow the situation might change now though, with the coach leaving and all. I think it's important to add that the coach was not the only one that wasn't happy with Nery. No one is happy with him, fans, directors etc. So he still has a lot of work to do if he wants to win back their trust.
dude, wtf happened? it seemed like he had a good attitude and performance after last season and then this season came and it went to shit. just tryin to understand where it began to fall apart. either way fckin nery
No idea wtf happened with him. He was quite good during the end of last season. So far this season we have seen nothing of that.
Well , I look at it this way. Its seems that Nery wasn't even on Chepos radar to begin with , so this really isnt a big loss. Now if he was consistently called upon to the NT this would be a horrendous outcome. But... ---- I still wish all the best for the dude , sad that its come to this , like this.
It's obvious that the coach's blatant disregard for his talent is hindering his performance on the field. How is he expected to succeed if he HAS TO PASS THE BALL?!
I havent been by this thread in for ever! Its like the movie groundhog day. Who's still riding? Hahaha!
breh u wluld rather peep this unibrows life story on tv over Kim and her half naked adventures?... real suspecto >_>
Nery is not just back in the squad, he is also back in the starting lineup. Game starts in 25 minutes.
