I think the market has changed and scouting has gotten alot more advanced these days, and it's benefiting smaller less prestigious leagues. Obviously Deossa is a CWC phenomenon and that's the biggest driver, but with advanced stats and scouting you can justify and identify good players regardless of what league they play in. This seems to be helping us, our guys are jumping off the page when shitty lazy scouts wouldn't spot them or downplay Colombians or them being in shitty leagues.

I dont know man... 15m.... you can get like the best 2-3 prospects from our league.... this dude wasnt even a top player or starter in Colombia. People started talking about him in Mexico then CWC makes him 15m?

fk our teams need to spend big to make that cup. Nacional will make 100m easy the way these euro teams are going apes shit

15m is not alot in this market. Half decent players are 30m. Our guys develop late, Deossa has quality and the type of shot that if you can put it together will be worth a lot. 15m is good business for a player with a really high upside, the only out of the ordinary is Mexico but the price was there because other teams were in the price range, the market is the market.

The european cups are going to be highly entertaining. Sucks that Antony is too expensive for Betis though, they seemed to match really well. He will be tough to replace, but think it's possible for another loan deal.

Homie played the game of his life when it mattered most. Good for him. You wish all our guys would put this kind of performance on tape in yellow...

As Pep said last week we haven't seen him in the NT yet, but if he can play like this on field with Rios beside him...what a boiler room that would be.

Small sample size but that's a pretty crazy midfield performance, if he can maintain and grow we have a crazy tandem of 2 8's who can dominate both ways. Desperately want to see Deossa/Castano/Rios midfield behind a front 3 of Diaz/Duran/Arias you have a super exciting attack and a very good press/defending from the front. We can carry Duran in that lineup, but I stick to we can't carry both Duran and James without big sacrifices defensively and we can't press.

That's exactly my dream line up right now, V. But Duran has to earn his way back into that and I want Yaser forcing his way in.

which really shows how devalued the Copa America is in the eyes of the big 4. Hopefully next time clubs will relaize they can save themselves multi-millions by the Copa play instead of making the move a year later.

Alot of these clubs are Eurocentric, their brain can't see south American on South American to evaluate talent, they need to see a South American skin their guys for the light bulb to click on.
