Neil Barrett to sign w/Metros

    He started out with Chelsea but was released and signed with Portsmouth but left there January 04 and signed with Dundee. I don't ever remember seeing him play but of course I wasn't looking for him. My understanding is he is more of a defensive midfielder but can play on the right also

    Someone pointed this article out on the Metros boards. He sounds extremely excited about his chance and can't wait to get to NYC. I wish all foreign players coming into the league had his attitude. Sometimes the foriegn players act like they're here for a retirement spot or it's the only place to go. After the article, I'm eager to see him play.
