Hey, I'm putting together something involving all the winners of the Supporters Shield. I was wondering if anyone who supported DC United 1999 could tell me more or less the exact formation that you guys put out there on most nights throughout the season. I've got the players down, but I'd like to know who played on the right/left, defensive mid/offensive mid, withdrawn striker, etc.

Here are the players to jog your memories:
    Tom Presthus
    Jeff Agoos
    Eddie Pope
Carey Talley or was it Llamosa
    Diego Sonora
    Richie Williams
    Ben Olsen
    Marco Etcheverry
John Maessner or was it Geoff Aunger
    Roy Lassiter
    Jaime Moreno

    striker----striker
    attacking mid
    left wing---------right wing
    defensive mid
    left back--centerback--centerback---right back

or whatever formation your squad used

Thanks for your help guys. I appreciate it.

Midfield. This guy didn't see much action but was on the practice squad and some action in the open cup games.

    Carlos Arce.

I am not sure what happened to this kid. I think he was sent to New York's A league teams or something.

    Does anyone know what happened?

    This is basically correct.

However, as was the case for 1997, this overlooks a lot of important players. Who can forget the time we beat LA 2-0 in LA with not a single one of these guys on the pitch, save Agoos, Williams, and Presthus??

Judah Cooks. I seem to remember he was always getting called for hand balls.

Albright came in at mid-season too. The end was near with that one.

    Aunger was a nice sub.

Didn't we trade for Kamler at some point during that season too?
