It's Scottish, so you can guess that it's all dialogue and depressing as fv@k... It stars the guy who played Mother Superior in Trainspotting, and he's a recovering alcoholic who manages a Sunday league football team and falls in love with a social worker type woman. One of the kids on his team, who he sort of adopts and looks after, gets into trouble with some local gangs, thus forcing him back into the underworld he thought he left behind when he quit drinking. It's dark as all get out, and the ending is just absolutely brutal. I used to see it a few years back on either Sundance or IFC all the time. Any help??
