So since this is part II does it make the game part of a Double Header?

my bible says: Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

my wife can change, but i'll never change my God, i'll never stop being Mexican no matter where i live and i'll never stop supporting Tigres or MNT (and now Dynamo). for some of us football isn't some fringe sport that we watch cuz we got tired of wife-beaters and outrageous salaries in other sports. some of us are obsessed cuz its one of the few things in life that we had to look forward to that would never let us down (and i had a daddy and mommy). football kept me sane by allowing me to channel my insanity towards it.

if you don't understand, i won't be able to explain it to you and the level of insanity during the WC in Latin American countries would completely shock you. when you're team is playing: factory production stops, the streets are deserted, school lessons stop and some teachers go as far as wheeling a TV in the classroom. if you think i'm passionate about futbol, you should meet the rest of MI FAMILIA. in that case, we're all mad when we get together to watch Mexico play in the WC.

side note: my maternal grandmother was a huge football fan, but since she was a from a different generation where it wasn't proper for a woman of her age/class/etc to acknowledge she watched a boy's game she would say that she just sat in front of the TV with us just to spend time with us. but we always noticed grandma's leg would twitch a bit more and she would be a bit giddy when Club America was playing. later on she admitted to me that she was indeed a huge fan of CA and it was partly because she liked Carlos Reinoso's legs (look him up, he's one of the most beloved America player's of all time). her last couple of years she was mostly bed-ridden and i enjoyed the few sundays i got to spend with her watching CA play on TV. i would give her a hard time about C. Blanco being a douchebag (in nice terms because my grandma didn't allow us to use foul language) and i noticed she would genuinely get upset. she loved me and to me she was everything, but i still wasn't allowed to blaspheme her favorite team. pretty crazy, isn't.

Well then, I'm glad I'm not being judged for wanting "family" to be included in the equation. :p God bless us, everyone.

I bought a "Come and Take it" flag on a recent trip to Gonzales... I figured it would fit in quite nicely on the sideline at a match like this.

No, because that would leave the door open for the Dutch. And I don't think so...

Yeah, and he thinks I'm angry.

And I've been tempted too. I just keep reminding myself that whole money thing... But if this was WCQ or GC, I'd get up off my deathbed to be there, maybe even my casket. But a friendly? For how much??? Nah.

There are gonna be some fights if those USA fans try to tailgate in the same area as the Mexico fans. Why they have decided to stay in the same lot is beyond me.

Which sections of Reliant are US and which ones are Mexico based upon the way that the tickets were sold? Just curious. I've already got seats in a box but I didn't know if they divided into sides, north/south, etc.

Yea but it seems by the way that guy was talking he is setting up the tailgate for the American Outlaws group. So these are some of the real die hard fans and a big group. So when you add beer and the atmosphere, you never know whats gonna happen.

I just say its better to be in an area where the majority of the fans are USA fans because it limits the chances for an incident.

They have a Mexico support section, U.S. support section, and a neutral/mixed section. I'm in the neutral, not sure which side will be U.S. or Mexico...

Yeah, most of Nike's designs for the USMNT just haven't been all that interesting, this one doesn't really interest me.
