Pavon with both goals. Beckham set them both up.

The Red Bull goal was off a JPA free kick. but in that play Harden for L.A. should have gotten a red card because he was the last man, he only got a yellow.

Jazic out with a twisted ankle.
Clinton in. That's going to hurt the Galaxy

ESPN wishes they had this game. Now they won't hype this game much.

Gotta give it up for that Beckham cat. everytime he takes a free kick he sends it to the box and it always has a chance to be put away.

    2-1 Galaxy

The game has settled down a bit but people still sound loud.

No, it sounds like they're saying "Red Bull" to me. what I don't know is what are they yelling at Cannon after he takes the goal kicks.

I hear the redbull chant too, but I am pretty sure I heard beckham once.

I do not know what they are saying, they are never even close to this loud. I was supposed to go to this game, but I thought that making bread sounded like a better idea so I bailed.

I'm watching the DC/Crew match. My son is watching the NYRB/Galaxy match with his dad. Well, he is running back and forth trying to watch both :)

Capacity of Giants Stadium is listed at 80,242.

Not sure if all that is available for soccer.

After some nifty foot work from Danovan, he passes to Pavon. Pavon takes a shot thatalmost became his hat trick goal.

    2-1 L.A

    35'

Cannon with a great deflection to deny an Angel goal.

Yep. FedEx is 2nd largest at 80,000. Arrowhead is just a little smaller.

The Pontiac Silverdome used to be the largest at 80,368 until the Detroit Lions moved to Ford Field.

Richards for New York was working that left side and tries a shot on goal that bounces back towards Mathis who just kills it for a score.

    2-2

    Halftime.

Red Bull supporters are pumped and jumping in the stands.
