Can anybody give a reasonable explanation why ASU is ranked 6 spots below Iowa in both polls? They both have two losses, ASU beat Iowa 44-7, and ASU's only losses are to the #1 and #4 teams.
"ASU's only losses are to the #1 and #4 teams", thus the computers love the Sun Devils. Iowa's losses occured in weeks 3 and 4 ASU's losses occured in weeks 6 and 8 The human poll remember later losses more vividly than early losses.
