Any predictions? You going to any games? Xavier v. Akron -- 8/30 at 7pm at Xavier. I'm really looking forward to seeing this one. IUPUI v. Cal Baptist -- 8/31 at 4pm at IUPUI. Not much excitement for this, but only one in the area for me. Ohio State v UIC & UD v. CSUN -- 9/1 at 12pm and 3pm. This will be Year 3 of watching part of this tournament.
Curious to see which ACC teams, if any, slip up in their home openers. ranked from most to least likely imo WFU v UCF Clemson v South Carolina Duke v Furman NCSU v Loyola (Md.) UVa v Pacific UNC v Creighton Louisville v Cleveland St
Going to opening weekend for the Univ. of Portland at home Friday v. Colgate and Sunday v. Coastal Carolina
I missed that. If you want to see Cal Baptist, they are playing at Duquesnue on 9/15 (Sunday) at noon.
Wasn't really that I wanted to see them, but [I thought] it fit in my schedule for matches. Sunday's double header at Ohio State will be enough for me that day. Then, I have to make a decision on what to do on Labor Day.
Clemson vs. South Carolina features the breakout player of the year, Philip Mayaka, possibly the best Clemson player of the last 20 years.
Clemson up 3-1 in the first half. ACC Network and Clemson’s live stats not working so relying on the word of random people walking past and a drone I sent about 30 minutes ago
Very comfortable 4-1 win for Clemson over rival USuCk. Dark horse for the ACC with a much improved roster and a star in Mayaka.
I just opened a window for Marquette's webcast of their game hosting UC Davis - doesn't start until 10. https://gomarquette.com/watch/?Live=64&type=Live
Looks like one camera, two announcers (one with a Brit accent) and no replays (although one can back up with the slider). 18 minutes it locked up, and restarting the window brought up an ad telling me how much money they can save me on things I never buy.
0-0 going to OT. The Brit announcer let on that he had played 3 years ar Marquette but seemed to be mystified when the referee stopped the game to get the timekeeper to correct the time on the scoreboard.
0-0 final. MU had more shots on goal, but they were all long-range floaters that gave the UCD keeper no problems. MU had several crosses and dumps into the box but their strikers couldn't get to them.
I do not know where to put the link to the following article. It is about the last UNM Lobos' season. A long and emotionally charged text. As this thread is about the opening of the 2019 NCAA week-end, it might be the right place to have this article about the closing Lobos' season. Hank T. if you read this post, I have a thought about you. https://www.topdrawersoccer.com/col...-33448133&mc_cid=9677edc3e2&mc_eid=1e23b67a01
