I am going to try putting this thread here. For me the Courage threads are inconveniently buried in the WNY Flash sub forum. PRESEASON GAMES START TODAY NC Courage Preseason Game Schedule: Games are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. Sunday, Feb 25: NC Courage vs. UNC-Chapel Hill, 11 a.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park Thursday, March 1: NC Courage at NC State, 11:30 a.m. at Dail Soccer Stadium Sunday, March 4: NC Courage vs. Tennessee, time TBA at WakeMed Soccer Park Sunday, March 11: NC Courage vs. Clemson, 2 p.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park Tuesday, March 13: NC Courage vs. Wake Forest, 3 p.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park Saturday, March 17: Washington Spirit vs. NC Courage, 7 p.m. at City Stadium, Richmond, Va. Click here for tickets. I quickly checked two places to see if any preseason training photos have been posted, but did not see any, yet. http://andymead.photoshelter.com/gallery-list https://isiphotos.photoshelter.com/gallery-collection/NWSL-League-Images/C0000c.w76ZqM8EM There is a gallery here from the 2018 College Draft
Well, I think it's a good idea. Last season there was quite a lot of discussion about this subject, but, unless any moderator wants to change WNY Flash sub-forum's name (but it wouldn't be a good thing for WNY Flash archives from the past, I guess) or to open a new sub-forum for NC Courage (but it was said last year that probably the reduced trafic on this kind of media in the latest years doesn't justify anymore one sub-forum per team), simply putting this thread on general NWSL forum could work. I am fond of old sub-forums for my favourite teams (and luckily for me Blaze20 keeps Seattle Reign's one alive! ) and I normally like simmetry, but I guess there's nothing wrong if we go on in a way that's a little more chaotic and less "regular", like the times we're living. If a sub-forum keeps somehow thriving it is fair to keep it alive, but there's nothing wrong in choosing a different way for new franchises.

The tall person between Abby and Lynn is not a player, her name is Jess. @justjessNC A huge thank you to the @TheNCCourage for the spectacular opportunity to participate in the 2018 kit reveal and @lynnraenie, it was an absolute thrill to sport the home kit along side you. #couragecountry #jazzhands #quethethrills 🤗🦁⚽️🦁 pic.twitter.com/audmpjzycu— Jess (@justjessNC) March 13, 2018

Do I remember well that both media and managers alike voted her for the "toughest" player in NWSL by a landslide?
It looks like the Courage will not have Mewis, King, or Kawamura for the opening game.... Why is it that watching Denise O'Sullivan on the field just makes me happy?
Paul Riley may be Sensei, but I still believe the spiritural soul of this team lies within Elizabeth Eddy.
Crisp and shiny kits for Saturday: We didn't even speed this up. @vfulch is just that fast.2 days away from 🦁 vs 🌹#Championship #Rematch #NoFinishLine pic.twitter.com/09B0hgjLF9— NC Courage (@TheNCCourage) March 22, 2018
This one shows the whole goal seqence, starting with the pass that switched the point of attack. What. A. Goal. 😱@Debinha7 finds our first goal of 2018 with an assist from @OSullivanDenise #NCvPOR 1-0 pic.twitter.com/tNRa1JoQoX— NC Courage (@TheNCCourage) March 24, 2018
Who was who made that front-changing pass? It's not easy to read the number. Was it Abby Dahlkemper? So the action was basically: Dahlkemper switching side for Hinkle, who tosses it forward to Sullivan; Sullivan attracts half Portland defense on her, then casually side-pokes the ball to a completely free Debinha on her right, who can subsequently send a surface-to-air missile in goal undisturbed?
I have to say, I really like my twitter feed right now, I've been scrolling down and I must have seen O'Sullivan's assist on Debinha's goal a dozen times! It was sweet every time.
Andy Mead has posted some of his photos from the POR-NC game on instagram. https://www.instagram.com/p/BgzsW_AF-iL/?taken-by=theandymead There are also a boatload of his photos from the game here: https://isiphotos.photoshelter.com/...h-24-2018/G0000LUsXLUkdroY/2/C0000OtbKqSmTjcQ

I love McCall Zerboni! bill you have such a wonderful, strong, sweet, talented, well mannered and grateful daughter. thanks for letting the @TheNCCourage encourage her and be a part of your family's world. all the best!👍🙏💙 https://t.co/pRpRW6iBpr— McCall Zerboni (@McCaLL2) April 1, 2018
It is not just me that thought Hinkle's assist was great--- The physics of Hinkle's through ball merit multiple viewings. Off a 40-yard sprint, she delivers it with enough pace to split the defenders, whereupon it immediately checks up AND curls almost 45 degrees into McDonald's path in stride. Sublime. https://t.co/57PRt5g2qs— Neil Morris (@ByNeilMorris) April 1, 2018
