I was watching the post-match stuff today on Telemundo, and they took every opportunity to hype this for August 2027 (in addition to 2028 Olympic coverage). Interesting how Telemundo also had Gabriel Batistuta as part of their WC Final broadcast. He's aged pretty damn well, IMO. Considering that his ankles/legs are trashed so bad that he has mobility issues -- he seems to be doing great.
How damn hard is it for one company to get the rights in a ton of languages, then to set up a Disney+ thing where you can select the language from inside the broadcast? MLS/Apple does it this same way. You can switch commentary without going back to the menu. Now watch them have separate tiles for Spanish and English. It'd be fun to watch in English, then switch it over to Andres Cantor for the goal calls.
