First seven weeks are fine - you did a good job and posted more than enough there.

If I had beat you to the posting - (I guess I should haven't went out and cut the grass!) I would have just posted the following - opening of the press release, the link to the press release, the pick six matches that NBCSN listed (see below) and the first week match schedule.

Sunday, September 21 - 11:00 am ET - NBCSN - MANCHESTER CITY vs CHELSEA.

We knew it will be a matter of time that NBC will showcase some Sunday games on NBC. Sunday, Oct 26 on NBC, we have a big marquee game between ManUvCHE going against NFL. Regardless, I see great numbers for that game especially if they are both playing well (ManU especially). We should see the highest rated EPL game to date shown live in the US market.

TIM HOWARD JOINS NBC SPORTS GROUPS PREMIER LEAGUE BROADCAST TEAM

Tim Howard, goalkeeper for the United States Mens National Team in the 2014 and 2010 FIFA World Cups and for Everton in the Barclays Premier League, will join NBC Sports Group’s Premier League on-air team in a multi-year agreement, it was announced today.

Howard will work up to 10 Premier League matches this season, serving as game analyst in the booth or in an on-site studio for the pre-match, halftime and post-match shows. His assignments will be scheduled around Everton matches and will focus on top-tier matches.

Howard served as a NBCSN analyst on six match telecasts and one on-site studio last season. In the seven matches immediately prior to Howard's NBCSN appearances, Everton recorded six victories and one loss.

“I had such a great experience last season and am excited and honored to re-join the NBC Sports team,” said Howard. “Their coverage of the Premier League is fantastic and helps bring the passion of the games to America. I look forward to doing what I can to add to that.”

Since the 10 am Saturday matches are not televised in the UK, it makes sense that the bigger match-ups are scheduled for the other timeslots. And NBC's selections are logical..they simply picked the match involving the top club playing of the 4 or 5 matches available.

That ted lasso bullshit has fox craptastic comedy written all over it. Its like lol americans will love this and help them get into an already established sport that sells itself.

I dont know why we need this, men in blazers or any of this other lets be awkward and have the studio people fake laugh their way through our jokes nonsense.

I hope it's like last year and only a thing they use in the beginning of the season to promote the new season. When I first started following the PL, it was a bit confusing when the league actually started and stupidly small details like that so I think this may help the nOObz.

And I like Men in Blazers.
