Just hoping we get to see more the rest of the way in a starting role. Not expecting for him to be a nailed down starter yet, just wanting to see more of him from the start (without the undue pressure of having to rescue the team from bad situations especially).
Mason Greenwood has added 3kg of muscle during the lockdown period #mulive [@lauriewhitwell]— utdreport (@utdreport) June 19, 2020
that makes sense. I thought he looked a lot more solid. I hope most of that is just a natural filling out and that he didn't do too much. His flexibility and litheness is important to him.
https://www.skysports.com/football/...manchester-united-new-dimension-on-right-wing Undisputed right sided option for the remainder of the season. Really done well during the lockdown in terms of his fitness regimen (like so many of our guys, if we're being honest) and he's come back a different/better player. Have to hope that Rash will get back to speed in fairly short order and our attack will simply become frightening.
He looks very good. He’s impressing me more than Rashford. The fact he’s only 18 is crazy. Reminds me of rvp
I was watching his movement and workrate when we didnt have the ball and it showed a lot of maturity. In addition to delivering on attack (never a doubt for me) he can also fit in well with our build-up play and defence - which is key and not to be under-estimated He is nearly ready and well ahead of where he should be - has developed big-time last 12 months.
he was MOTM for me last game. didn't put a foot wrong imo even if we didn't include him in attacks as much as we could have
I loved his assist more than his goal against Brighton. It was a perfect example of his game and this thread title. I cannot get over how mature he is. This season was good for him, all the playing time and exposure and constantly being in squads has definitely helped a great deal. The run in could be huge for him as well, any time a player this young gets to play a lot of games back to back is good for development. They get to try things and work things out. We need to be sure he gets enough rest.
Now on 15, Mason’s got a reasonable shot at 20 with the way he’s/we’re playing. Whatever number he ends up at, what an absurd debut season at 18.
********ing A. If Ole is remembered for anything, it will be when someone asked him who the most natural finisher at the club was between Martial and Rashford and he casually mentioned a kid still in the academy saying they had a long way to go to get to Mason's finishing. How right he was and what a ballsy thing to say. He's got the management of our forwards, the personnel decisions of who to come in and who to leave and where to play folks ABSOLUTELY right.
best young talent in the league for me. and yes i didn't forget Foden. both are special but i am putting my faith in Greenwood. he's the only reason i got a jersey this year. Greenwood 26
So many shades of RVP in him, hopefully Mason will be healthier and with no major injury he can top Rooney.
Greenwood is ready for England call up - Ole https://www.skysports.com/football/...s-manchester-united-boss-ole-gunnar-solskjaer England's attack for the coming years is shaping up to be pretty ridiculous in terms of talent and depth. Options and potential combinations galore open to Southgate.
I've never had higher expectations for a youth player than I have for Greenwood. Sure guys like Ravel and Pogba looked really talented and it felt like they were a lock to make it to the top level, but Greenwood feels different. To be as natural of a finisher as he is at 18 is insane. Ffs, he's 18 and he may be the most natural finisher we've had in the senior team since RVP and RVN...at 18 years old. If he can avoid major injury and we can be patient with him as he develops physically, he's going to be world class. I honestly can only think of a handful of players in the world that have as quick of a release as him. His ability to make a move and the shoot is insane. There are no wasted steps. I'm all in on this kid.
