Something we'd hoped not just for Mase but for all our forwards as well. If nothing else, Cav always had a wealth of know-how and experience to share with our guys.

The kid is just 1 season old so all BS not scoring against big teams is quite premature.

That whole not scoring against big teams is stupid regardless of age.

For any player. Just another means to talk down players unnecessarily.

That finish on the weekend, once again, just demonstrates how elite his finishing is. It's on another level.

To take it the way he did by setting himself up with the take, then going ice cold when facing the keeper, looking up and picking the corner that way was terrific. It's a very difficult skill. It literally picked a perfect placement. The keeper, technically, did everything text book with his positioning and cutting down the angle as much as feasible. But, he stood no chance really.

Mase has been selected for England's U21 team going to the Euros this summer.

I want him to break the goal scoring record for United and England. He did it in my FM save at the age of 32.

I'll be happy for him to get the experience in the Euros, but hopefully he's just a sub/rotation bit part player. He needs the rest. Same for Rashford.

i don't get the rush for him to go to the Euros. he's just 19 and clearly had struggles this season.

not like England are favourites anyway. besides when was the last time forcing a young player into the England side worked out in the long run?

    what's the damn rush...

England is a favorite. Not THE favorite but they are second favorites.

Rashford will probably start though I think he should come off the bench.

So, who do they take? Sterling, Kane, foden, rashford, mason, sancho? Vardy Ings & Abraham?

I think he will be keen to go, so would be good for his confidence to be selected - especially after both he and Foden were sent home and Foden has been re-integrated and Mase hasnt.

With Gareth if selected (big if) he wont start any games as Foden / Sterling ahead of him at RWF and Kane / Calvert-Lewin ahead at #9.

If he does go it would be because he could be a dynamite sub.

Abraham probably won't go. He has not played enough.

Kane as a 9 and Vardy as back up and Mason as back up.

Sancho as RW with Foden as back up (Foden could start as a 10 if they pay two holding midfielders). You gotta take Saka.

Sterling as LW with Rash as back up

You have to take Mount and Bellingham (they played integral part in their teams).

    Grealish you gotta take.

Declan Rice starts. I would take Ward-Prowse. You could play Dier in midfield if needed to play an advanced playmaker with less defensive duties.

    I would do this:

    Henderson

    Arnold
    Stones
    Maguire
    Shaw

    Rice
    Ward-Prowse

    Sterling
    Foden
    Sancho

    Kane

EDIT: put Bellingham instead of Ward-Prowse.

Surely Rashford starts over Sterling? Behind Mo' Salad he's been the second most productive winger in the premier league over two seasons.

France has to be the most talented squad assembled - unreal talent.

But Deschamps is an utter tosser and a ponce. He might just find the way to ******** it up. I mean, he has Fofana available to him and he's going to pick Kimpembe? Kimpembe is ********ing shite mate! lol

    I'd take:

    Kane, DCL, Watkins, Greenwood
Sterling, Sancho, Rashford, Mount, Foden, Grealish
    Rice, Bellingham, Phillips, Ward-Prowse

    Stones, Coady, Dier, Mings
Walker, AWB, Reece James, Shaw, Chillwell
    Hendo, Pope, Johnstone

    What I'd do:

    ------------------------------Kane
    Sterling-------------------Foden---------------------------Sancho
    ---------------Rice-------------------------Phillips
    Shaw-----------------------------------------------------------Walker
    ---------------????------------------------Stones
    ---------------------------Henderson

Watkins, Rashford, Bellingham,Mount and Grealish would be my game changing subs. Walker to provide some pace and likely to play half the match at RB and half at RCB in a 3 when Shaw is high up the pitch. I want Sterling, Foden and Sancho interchanging a lot and one of them has to be wide right most times it will be Sancho.

Kane at the tip of the spear, but also just as likely to be dropping off in space and allowing the 3 to go beyond.

Mason wouldn't get a sniff beyond needing to rest someone or unless something bad happened.
