OK we are definitely better this second half, but seriously one player I gotta say that has really been frustrating me is Balotelli. He has missed so many balls and has not been running at all. He needs to be replaced.

Bernardeschi is rubbish, all the steroids in him has made him forget how to control a ball.

Lacking a world class forward really hurts, you can tell

Well he has arguably been one of our best players on the pitch today. Still I wouldn't say much to rave about, but at least he has done a few good pieces of play. Him, Insigne, Chiellini, and Donnarumma are the only players that are playing well at the moment.

I have zero beef with Berna, at least he's taking shots and trying to create chances.

Alright, let's play the long ball game because that has worked so well for us in the past.

And that in a nutshell is our attacking capabilities, what a joke.

Chiesa needs to be starting. By far our best forward!

It is a bunch of new players who have not played together much. It shows. But at least Mancini is giving the young guys a chance instead of relying on the old guard. This is a new cycle and may as well treat it as one.

I agree and I didn't expect us to look brilliant or anywhere near that good, but the performance in the first half was inexcusable. We definitely did better once Chiesa and Belotti came on, but I feel Chiesa especially came on too late.

At least we have gotten a point.

No excuses. It is what it is. There is no overwhelming talent in Italy right now. So Mancini has to develop and hope that some players start to excel. If they do well for gli Azzurri, then hopefully that translates to more playing time with club. That then will have a reverse effect.

Hopefully the second half showing is a sign of things to come. I am not sure why some around here expect Italy to play as if they are WC champions.
