I just tuned in to see if Italy has improved, a miracle save later and i can see They still stink. What the heck, keep waiting for the turnaround, BUT with the era of VAR and this shitty Italy squad, the wait will be a little longer, they will get there, they have pedigree, remember the old times when you could play. Now you can't.

We just choke around the penalty area, try to do way too much, just take some shots!

Realize most players are new to each other but still a pathetic effort.

If they don't improve quickly, this is another squad that will go nowhere.

    Absolutely pathetic.

Italy has problems. they do. I keep thinking it is a bump in the road. May very well be still. But this team is a shell of former teams, No team would fear or be intimidated by this. They are not very good. Honestly. At home. A display like this....Italy?....

Bring Chiesa and Immobile/Belotti in at half time. Everyone is pretty rusty, not making any excuses but most of these teams were in the WC and are still fresh.

Not very pleased with the way we are playing. We are really playing like crap. Jorginho specifically is playing terribly. Have not hardly seen a single touch from Balotelli. In fact to be honest the whole tactical plan does not look good.

We need to completely change the tactics. Why are we controlling possession? Why not let Poland have the ball and we try and counter? Isn't that how we were always successful in the past. We were never ever a possession-based team.

Bernardeschi and Insigne are playing alright but are struggling for support. Pellegrini and Gagliardini are not playing too well either. We need to bring in Cristante, and many other players. The whole midfield looks very confused and rusty. Unacceptable.

Chiesa really needs to come on the field.

It's a road that's, already, 12 years long. From the looks of it, there are no stop signs anywhere in the near future.

If they are lucky, they'll escape with just a 2-1 loss.

I think we'll at least tie the game, hopefully they come out with a fire up their ass.

We’re to wide. Everyone sucks, we suck. I’m gonna keep saying it until Mancini does it, but we need to play 4-4-2. It has always worked, attacking football is not italy.

It's not like Poland set the WC on fire. They were, to me, one of the disappointments of the tournament.

The fact Poland was in the same group was the reason why I thought Italy wouldn't drop down to a lower group. At this rate, it will go down like a lead balloon with only a couple of points to show for its "efforts".

I'll wait till 2nd half before i start to panic. There were a couple good signs from Insigne and Berna, but i can see why Mancini was calling back DeRossi. Jorgi is not a real DM and with a shaky defence, it's a bit risky playing him. Still a long way to go.
