Re: When do the new kits come out? The last two US kits that came out leaked with pictures of players in them. I distinctly remember the anthracite jersey with Dempsey wearing it leaking about this time in 2007, and that turned out to be the real away kit. I also remember seeing one for the away jersey for the world cup in 06.

Everyone knows we beat the English in 1776, besides lets just keep this to sport, its sporting countries that lack confidence that always hearken back to history....see England.
Re: When do the new kits come out? um hello... the "new" leaked kit is clearly photoshopped onto the authentic picture of Dempsey (that's the exact same pic of Dempsey in the exact same pose as when he was wearing the anthracite jersey when it came out)... plus in the "new" leaked picture, he's wearing #10.... wrong again. My GOD what a stupid idea... this is soccer, not history class while we're at it, let's make our badge say "Amurrica, we hate turrism!" against Algeria and let's have our badge be a grand picture of Ronald Reagan against Slovenia yeah! yeah yeah yeah! *facepalm*

Re: When do the new kits come out? Does anyone know how long our contract with Nike runs? I love what Nike has done for the USSF and that they are a US company but our last jerseys have been pretty lame and that sash....not good looking (I get the 1950 reference and it is very appropo except the sash back then was a dark color not gray and...weak). I really like the new Adidas Jerseys (Germany and Spain are very classic and good looking). Russia's looks much better than our current one does. I won't even mention Argentina's jersey, they've always had the best looking Jersey in world soccer.
Re: When do the new kits come out? Those vertical stripes have never been my sort of thing. Argentina's been wearing them for so long, though, that would be like the Yankees losing the pin stripes if they got rid of them.

Nike will always have almost all the National Teams for the big sports because it's an American company and it generally makes the best overall product in most sports. Nike kits are much better than adidas IMO. I like Spain and Germany's jerseys but nothing about an adidas US jersey is appealing.
Re: When do the new kits come out? plus, the DFB and Russia jerseys from adidas are the first ones in a LONG time from adidas that aren't just slapped colors over a template. (though admittedly, nike used to be the worst offender of them all with this sort of thing).
Re: When do the new kits come out? Can't see adidas sponsoring our national team at least not in the near future. Many of our players are sponsored by the swoosh and its an American company. But who knows, france signed a contract with nike not too long ago.

Re: When do the new kits come out? Adidas does sponsor our domestic league. But the only way i really see Adidas trying to swoop in would be revenge. Nike tried to bid on Germany. It would still be a victory for Nike, but I could see Adidas trying to steal the US if Nike every signed Germany. Camp cupcake would be a good debut for the new Jersey. It would be right before the beginning of February, which sounds like when they are typically released.
Re: When do the new kits come out? If we had adidas it could go in the classy direction of germany of Argentina or we could have been stuck with the horrible backpack/sports bra look that france had. I like traditional looking shirts that don't need crazy lines all over them and thats what nike gives us most of the time.
