I have heard and read these names:- Die Mannschaft, Die Nationalmannschaft, Die Nationalelf, Die Panzermannschaft and some even say Die Klinsmänner.

    Was ist Gurken?

Ich kenne Mannschaft bedeutet aufs Englisch 'team'. That is why I said Die Langweilighemdschaft :p

Yes many non germans call it Die Mannschaft, but the Germans do not call them this.

Do the english people call the english Nationalteam "the Team"??

Die Nationalmannschaft and die Nationalelf is right
    Nationalmannschaft means Nationalteam
    Nationalelf means Nationaleleven

    Panzermannschaft means Armoteam ..

And Klinsmänner is an word from the Press.
KlinsMANN .. MANN is a MAN and Männer are mens
so Klinsmänner means Klinsmens, wich means Klinsmanns mens

And Gurken are cucumber :D it means that they play like cucumber.

When i talk to friends i say "heut spielt Deutschland" wich means "today plays Germany"

Ja bitte mehr Indische Rezepte! I had a look around the webpage wher you got the previous recipe from, there are quite a few nice ones on there.

I re-read your description of making ghee. I think that should be possible even for me...

That website is a general portal for news, cricket, Indian movies, cooking etc, basically all things under the sun. If you register there, you can have access to more recipies, and probably can have a chat, once or twice in a month with India's top cooks.
I've managed to catch one of them and the interaction was helpful.

Ghee is easy to make, Its only the speration of the milky layer from the remaining butter after the heating that requires a bit of practice.

Has anyone noticed that the new WM shirts are very comfortable? I just bought the away shirt yesterday...there's something about the material that's very light and soft.

This is one of the greatest posts I've ever seen.

Oh, and the German shirt should be white with a black collar and a black sleeve trim, with the adidas three stripes. No flares of colour or any of that garbage. The KISS principle needs to be applied more to football shirts.

He was only joking, you know.

If the KISS principle is followed, and every one starts wearing Germany like jerseys, then the popularity of the sport will take a huge hit.

Funny, the people at Nike disagree with you. You know, the world's richest sporting company.

And the popularity of the sport will take a huge hit? Are you kidding?

How many people watch football because the jerseys are soooo cool? Five?
