    Pick each bracket.
2 pts for correct pick, 1 point if your pick finishes 2nd.
    Bragging rights only, of course.

And I'll lead off, taking all region 4 teams except BU17, Dallas Texans, and BU19, Sockers.

Good luck to all my fierce foreign (to Cali) enemies.

When, oh when, will we start putting player development in front of winning titles?

Come Dr. D -- have some fun with it -- geez, we take everything so seriously in this country now a days!

You want to know why we put importance on it? Because that is what we do as humans -- we catagorize things, we rank them...sure the arguement can be made that they are "just kids" -- but they bust their butts and deserve some accolades for playing hard.

Winning is the ultimate test of player development. Even winning when young.

Calsouth won 1/3 of the titles last year, and looks ready to do about that again. It's graduates make up about 1/3 of the national team player pools. That's not just coincidence.

I mean, we're developing them to win games. Fitness is the best real benefit, but winning internationally, that's the test of player development.

I should have used the :D instead of the  . The winning vs development argument is one of the great topics on these boards.

I'd play along except for ignorance of teams outside Region 1. Unless I want to be like the Illinois crowd and pick Region 1 teams for everything!

Without a doubt the development vs. winning will forever be debated -- but that is 1/2 the fun of sports -- debating!

I will make some predicitions, too -- but I am one of those IL folks that only knows Region 2 teams -- I thought it was region 4 that had all the omniscient ones...
