Would it be a good idea for Hartford to be pushing for a NASL team? It could lead to NASL becoming MLS-2, and Hartford would definatly be able to support a soccer team....who knows mls and NASL might make a promotion Relegation agreement?????

Tried by whom? I'm assuming you mean the guy who posts on bigsoccer every day? He just wasn't taken seriously. If he was serious, then he probably would've managed to start a team somewhere else by now.

Yes, he made several good pitches to Harford concerning Dillon even offering a large amount of money for renovations. Hartford said they had other plans for that stadium. As you can see they have done alot with it so far. Also its not that easy to start a team. the biggest issue is finding a place with locker rooms that will allow you to play. New Britain was not going to work since they ruined the Wolves, Newington turned them down because there was an issue with selling alcohol at the concessions on school property and I believe they looked into a place in meridan area that needed too much renovations and was not cost effective. believe me, he and the ownership group tried several times and there were just not many placed in CT that it would work and would be cost effective
