Aplogies in advance to the righteous mods here; if misplaced, please redirect. A freind asked a couple questions that I couldn't come up with answers for. Hopefully somebody can help. First, the date that the NASL folded. I know it was in Feb of 85 when they held a league meeting to try and save the thing but only two teams were willing and/or able to put down the guarantee money so they gave it up. Anybody know the date? Also: in the last (1984) season, how many Americans had to be on the field? It had originally been one (1) in the mid-70's, but was raised a couple of times and was, IIRC either 5 or 6. Anybody who knows, it would be greatly appreciated.
