In comparison to what we're going to actually have, they're classic and timeless. Check option 2 again .... not full "hoops" but we've got a "hoop-esque" design in the mix.
They almost had one, but their asking price was a bit too much is what we've heard. Also, there is a very strong rumor of a 3rd uniform being introduced in the "fall" season. Possibly it could be like the white uniform, but all black. Sounds interesting. We'll see.....
I think the kits look great. I didn't think SA's were as bad as some did, but in the Armada color scheme there's absolutely nothing wrong with them. It's the same jersey as the USA Bomb Pop jersey that's so well loved.
Very cool kit. I feel like the sponsor detracts from the squeaky clean look, but that's just the name of the game, I guess. Man, the original NASL was a weird bird, though. What reason could they have had for keeping the Tea Men name upon moving to Jacksonville? I hadn't realized they played down there for five seasons.
Give it a solid B. Colors are spot on and they even mimicked the three stripes from the Adidas days (even though the Armada are a Nike team, weird). However the Tea men logo is missing, get Winn Dixie to move to the back, and put the sleeve numbers.
