Agreed... Northern Pitch has some great coverage and insight on the "North". Plus with all the MNUFC have been featured a couple of times recently on Soccer Morning.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Tuesday, March 31, 2015) – The Fort Lauderdale Strikers will unveil the team’s new 2015 uniforms on Thursday, April 2, at 7 p.m. EDT at Funky Buddha Brewery in Oakland Park. The event is free and open to the public. Fans will get the first look at the Strikers 2015 uniforms, produced by Nike. The primary, secondary, and goalkeeper jerseys will be on sale for $80.
Here's our garbage this season: The middle option is the only one that doesn't make me want to throw up.
Brent beat me to it. I LOVE the Rowdies jerseys. I'm a fan of the hoops design. US's old Nike jersey with the hoop design is my fave NATS jersey.
You have my condolences. Agreed; the middle one is okay but sort of eh, the other two fall into a what in the blue hell were they thinking category. I found the earlier 'works on my car' comment about the one on the right very appropriate. It looks like something a mechanic at a Toyota dealer would wear.
We revealed this beauty tonight. Make sure you get yours before Saturday's gameREAD: http://t.co/xJer5URMOa pic.twitter.com/bmum3jOW9C— Atlanta Silverbacks (@ATLSVBpark) April 2, 2015 Not sure how good ATL will be on the field but the Away jersey already beats down the Scorpions.
Am I the only one that really likes these kits? Cause I really like them all. I think the biggest problem is the terrible presentation here. But I guess that's just to be expected from the Deeproot San Antonio Scorpionis. Once you see them on the players, with black shorts, and without that idiotic transparent image in the background, I have a feeling people will feel a lot better about them. As a side note, the number of teams with hoops this year is nuts.
There's been some of us that have speculated just how far the sponsorship goes I've seen them in the shop, on myself, and on the players ..... they look shitty. The only redeeming thing for option 1, is that the stupid stripe is drowned out when worn with black shorts/socks ... which makes you wonder why it's there at all, and why it goes to the sleeves. Option 3 is worse with black shorts as it really draws out the grey at the top and makes you notice it. Option 2 wasn't in stock yet but I did see one of the promotional ones they sent for local adverts on one of the guys at the shop who happened to be wearing black shorts (likely on purpose) ... it looks fine IMO. What I want to know though, IS WHY THE BLUE FREAKING SHIT IS THIS NOT OUR LOOK THIS YEAR:
A darker red for the shirt stripe would have looked better. Remove them from the sleeves, or at least make them smaller. The sleeves should mesh with the shirt, not be an extension of it. It looks like someone spray painted across a design board and said "yep, good enough".
someone should tell the club that the stripes on indy's 3rd shirt are going the wrong way. it looks like hoops are required this season.
Simple and clean ... may be "boring" but it looks excellent. I'd also rather have boring than "Walmart Mechanic" or "fun just because why not" any day of the week.
