Yeah. The espn3 deal did not really create any exposure to the league I don't think. Nobody goes to espn3 to "see whats on" or stumble across NASL while watching something else. BeIn will be the crown jewel of this off-season. Giving direct exposure to millions of soccer fans watching Liga or Serie A. The CBS Sports deal imo is not a big deal because that's a crap network dedicated to viewers who are unlikely to care about soccer. Now if that deal somehow leads to SoccerBowl being aired on CBS the broadcaster, then that's a homerun!
Yeah all nasl games are non-local for me. I have access to espn3 and BeIN and OWS on the web but not CBSSN. Is there a master schedule yet showing which games are on what network? PS CBSSN starts in fall but BeIN starts this week.
If you go to the NASL schedule and click Match Center, and then click on Watch Live you can get TV listings for a particular game. Except that the BeIN games aren't on there yet so all the games this weekend are listed as ESPN3.
Van Der Beck: The Talent In Our League Has Gone Way Up Since the North American Soccer League last hosted a game in November, the league has been growing quickly. Off the field, Under Armour has joined the league as the new official match ball provider. Renowned stats wizards Opta have joined as the new stats company of the NASL. beIN Sports USA, CBS Sports Network, ESPN3 and ONE World Sports have all joined the league as new national broadcasters or renewed their partnerships. New additions on the field have arrived, too. Miami FC, Rayo OKC and Puerto Rico FC will all take the field this year, with the San Francisco Deltas announced Thursday as the league’s newest club to begin play in 2017. Star players have joined teams from outside the NASL and some familiar faces have swapped sides within the league. All of that change will make the league more exciting to watch than ever, according to Tampa Bay Rowdies Assistant General Manager and Vice President of Community Relations Perry Van Der Beck. “The way the NASL is structured, and the way that teams always seem to be so close to one another, you can win two games and go to the top of the table or you can lose two games and fall to the bottom,” Van Der Beck said. “The competition is there, and when I look at our roster and the rosters around the league, this league is going to be tough for every team involved. There’s no easy game.” http://www.rowdiessoccer.com/news/2016/03/31/van-der-beck-the-talent-in-our-league-has-gone-way-up

SBI NASL Power Rankings (Week 2) http://sbisoccer.com/2016/04/sbi-nasl-power-rankings-week-2 One takeaway: The two expansion teams rank solidly in the upper bracket; the two Canadian teams, not so much.
NASL This Week - Week 2 http://www.oneworldsports.com/stories/watch-online-nasl-week/ Very well-produced given that this is for a 2nd division soccer league.
INDY, TAMPA BAY WIN IN DRAMATIC FASHION TO HEADLINE WILD NIGHT OF SPRING SEASON ACTION http://www.nasl.com/news/2016/04/16...--headline-wild-night-of-spring-season-action
Heard the traveling Cosmos SG got kicked out tonight for starting a small fire with their flares and arguing with security. They're hardcore hooligans now.
So that's what those police officers were doing... They showed them walking into the Cosmos SG area during the game.
They also disrespect the national anthem by chanting and playing their drum through it. Not a good night to be a Cosmos supporter.
SBI NASL Power Rankings (Week 3) Through three weeks of the NASL Spring Season, a surprise contender has emerged atop the standings: the Carolina RailHawks. With yet another victory, the RailHawks have emerged as the NASL’s lone nine-point team through three weeks. Joining the RailHawks are the Tampa Bay Rowdies and Indy Eleven, both of whom picked up victories to stay unbeaten. The latter’s win was most impressive, as Indy Eleven toppled the New York Cosmos for the reigning champions’ first defeat of the season. Behind them, Minnesota United FC continued to bounce back from a Week 1 slip-up, while the Jacksonville Armada dispatched Miami FC to signal a move up the rankings. Here’s a look at the NASL Power Rankings after Week 3: http://sbisoccer.com/2016/04/sbi-nasl-power-rankings-week-3
The keeper for Carolina is incredibly weak as well. This is a huge surprise for them to be here right now, but it is still early in the season. Some how they've just distracted everyone from the fundamentals of soccer because their strategy has been all blitzkreig and everyone else seems like Belgium versus them thus far.
http://www.strikers.com/news/2016/04/21/guerin-steps-down-as-ceo "Guerin, who was named CEO of the club in March of last year, will continue to assist the organization with government relations and community partnerships. He will also be working closely with Strikers ownership on other projects here in the U.S. and in Brazil." This club really likes Brazil.
NASL Week 4: A Look Ahead In NASL action this weekend, two stalwarts of recent seasons face off in Minnesota while new standouts match up in Tampa Bay. Perennial heavy-hitters in the New York Cosmos and Minnesota United FC will take the field on Saturday night with plenty on the line. Minnesota United has started to bounce back from an underwhelming opening display, but the Cosmos are now coming off a late breakdown on the road in Indy. Elsewhere, Tampa Bay Rowdies fans have yet to be treated to an appearance from Freddy Adu, but new signings Tom Heinemann and Eric Avila have gotten the ball rolling at Al Lang Stadium. But now, a surprisingly good Carolina Railhawks team will look to continue their fine start to the year on the road. http://sbisoccer.com/2016/04/nasl-week-4-a-look-ahead-2
