Relax, you have only played 2 games ever. Your sole loss was in game #1 to the defending champs. It's a long season.
Oh, I'm not panicking, but something happening up front would be nice. I would have hoped they'd have figured out the right combination. Granted our manager is a defensive-minded one, but unless the plan is to play to a lot of scoreless draws he's got to straighten things out. And yes, I know they played the defending champs on a crap pitch and a Pittsburgh side that looked good defensively. But two shots on goal per game means they'd have to have a hell of a conversion rate to get the three points. We'll see how things progress.
Well that was certainly a better offensive performance, even if some of that might be because they were playing against a 10-man side for almost the entire match. Despite the man advantage it seemed pretty even through most of it. The red card decision was correct but the penalty was not. He was clearly pulled down, warranting the ejection, but it occurred just outside the penalty area. But hey, bad calls go both ways. There will probably be one later in the season that go against the boys.

So it's bottom of the table Colorado Rapids in Round 4. That's a lucky draw. And NSC will host to boot!

Despite the travel problems and the injuries, NSC should have been able to beat the absolute worst team in the league. Hell, at least a draw. This team is downright anemic when it comes to scoring.
Don't look now, but with that four goal outburst on Tuesday, NSC is finally above that one goal per match average.
