Sellout Crowd Welcomes Nashville to Pro Ranks The playing conditions weren’t the most welcoming, but Nashville SC made a rousing start to its professional history as a sellout crowd of 9,059 fans filled First Tennessee Park for the club’s first preseason outing against Atlanta United of Major League Soccer. A trio of second-half goals saw the visitors claim victory, but Ropapa Mensah’s tally left Nashville with its head held high after the 3-1 defeat. http://www.uslsoccer.com/news_article/show/885569?referrer_id=2333971
When I got to the stadium I was pleased to discover the seat I had picked for my season ticket was under cover. And speaking of cover, note to NSC: if it is raining before a match, cover the grass laid over the infield dirt. It was basically unplayable on Saturday.
I saw it on the scoreboard at the match on Saturday but now the email went out from the club stating that the home opener on March 24 and also the July 7 match will be held at Nissan Stadium. I see that the Sounds are scheduled at home on July 7 so that could explain that, although the email says it is because of high demand for tickets. Could we be getting post-match fireworks?
Nashville SC fans, you the real MVP.Let’s do this again at least 17 times this season. #OurTownOurClub pic.twitter.com/FSJn5xm6yK— Nashville SC (@NashvilleSC) February 12, 2018

So Louisville also plays on their AAA baseball team's field too. What terrible shape it was in. I can only assume they are going to lay down new turf because the Bats home opener is in less than three weeks. Looked like the bad grass at Ezell when the Metros were playing. While I am happy to have the games broadcast on MyTV 30, it was painful to listen too. Louisville plays on a small pitch? Tell us about it fifty times. Wasn't too excited about the way the team played. Granted they were playing the league champs on their crappy field but I was hoping they'd have a little more for them.

It’s going to be a looooong season if NSC can’t figure out something on offense. There seems to be no plan and no spark. Defense and goalkeeping seems solid. They had better be if they aren’t going to score goals.
