San José silencing the host’s onfield rhythm?

    Nashville playing a triumphant tune?

The Earthquakes orchestrating a win? SC conducting a victory?

    Discuss.

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

Finally, a team we can actually beat!!!

We're going to slaughter Nashville 3-0 and get our second win and sadly that'll save Luchi coaching carrier in San Jose. :(

I know their record sucks but I think Nashville is a good team, maybe as good as LAG. Mukhtar is always a handful and that Canadian guy “Shuffleboard” or whatever his name is, is a handful on left wing. Then they’ve got a pretty good #9, Surridge (?), Godoy still playing pretty well in midfield, etc. Zimmerman didn’t play against Miami so maybe he’s out with a knock?

That was the game where Alex Covelo completely took the air out and stuffed the game. We played possession without purpose for 90 minutes. All those people dressed in yellow with nowhere to go. I don’t think this team is capable of that. Monteiro is very helpful in that kind of game.

Not to mention it would require a game plan. That’s not in the cards.

I think we have game plans. It's just that they aren't working. Take LAG's first goal. Apparently that was a set attacking play that starts with Yarbrough that they had been working on. Luchi says that it was "a setup play and built up from the goalkeeper that we worked on and we know where to play and how to win". Unfortunately apparently they didn't practice the "what happens when we don't win the ball" part.

Flea flickers are not game plans.

Pellegrino starting was a clue the plot was lost.

Nashville are pretty bad so far this year... Hany hasn't done much in the last calendar year and Zimmerman is out injured.

I thought they looked pretty good against Miami and probably should have had at least a point.

Nashville trying to make a move before our game? They know they have no shot to beat us unless they bring in reinforcements

Any team will see SJ as a "must win" game because it is a minimum requirement. If you don't take 3 points from SJ, you are falling down the table unnecessarily.

How to watch? Unless you’re extremely tough there’s only one way to watch an Earthquakes game:

You guys are worrying about nothing, Nashville is a lead pipe cinch. 3-0 in a super easy victory saving Luchi's job, bet the farm on it.

Kind of feeling the same. Quakes have been better on the road this season, even though the results haven't shown. As long as we don't give up a PK, we should be good! How is that for positive thinking!

Time to give ebobisse another shot at starting up top. And start Kikanovic over pellegrino.

I'd give Benji a start at the 9 and have Marie on the left flank.

So this will be a good opportunity for them to get on track. There's no chance in hell we win this game. They are going to stomp us.
