I think he was with the Paraguay crowd.

Yall shouldn't trip about the Univision commentators. They're just 3 Mexican buddies watching a tourney that their team is eliminated from. They just chillin, talkin about the game, laid back. I expect to hear Hugo Sanchez sooner or later say "Hey, I'm going to get a beer from the fridge, anybody want one?" Hell, they already have talked about what they're gonna do after the game, and what they're gonna eat tomorrow.

Ramirez is the goofball, Braca is the old guy and Hugo's the playa. Ramirez=Norm, Braca=Coach Pantuso, and Hugo=Sam Malone.

    And Fernando Fiore=Cliff Clavin

    LOL This.

I would say "/thread" but this is just one thread we can all use to agree on something all together regardless of results and the differences we all have with one another...the damn commentating for these matches. XD

No, I just think independently and don't agree with something even if it's popular to do so. I have posted MANY times over the years criticizing the Univision narrators and the Mexican Fox Sports narrators. But this time, I think they got the right mix of color commentary and good analysts. Just because they don't have an Argentinian accent doesn't make them suck.

    It's not just Univision
    I'm watching Fox right now
Fox Sports Central but they have 2 Mexicans and an Argentine talking

They're talking about the semifinal refs
and of course talking and building up the Mexican ref
And one of the Mexicans says:
"Uruguayans and Peruvians better watch out with the rough play because Chacon will have no problems showing a red card... bla bla bla"

and in their own freakin screen in front of him you see the title that says(correctly):
"Mexican referee Francisco Chacon to call Paraguay-Venezuela"

    :D

Orozco from Bolivia got the Uruguay-Peru game

Personally, I thought they sucked long before I found out so many others felt the same.

And yeah, Ramirez's humor and word play is hilarious to pre-teens and children. He'd make an amazing babysitter I bet. Game announcer? Not so much.

Over the years i've learned to cope with their style

Something that i find even more annoying is there horrible production and their unhealthy obsession with replays

Ramirez loves to call for replays just to prove some stupid point

Their stupid univision technology is ********ing lame too

Thats the worst part. They miss literally minutes of gametime showing meaningless replays. I start screaming my lungs out whenever they go on and on and on showing a replay, meanwhile you hear the crowd going nuts
