Good, all clear. Release clause of 75 is much better situation than the old one in the current market. He'll score lots of goals in Turkey, should be no problem selling him either in January or June.
Ngonge and Rui still being shopped but apparently neither is interested in going to Turkey. Rui seems inclined to just sit the season out if he can't go to Portugal, though his contract seems to expire in 2026.
Galatasaray is saying they are paying Osimhen 6m net. It's only nine months but still doesn't seem to add up.
It seemed like it was only a few month's ago where everyone was going crazy not wanting Victor Osimhen to leave. Things change so fast.......
I think everyone was resigned to it happening eventually, and he made it clear that this summer was going to be the time, so the team went in another direction. This window was a disaster for him. The idea that the team that rebuilt itself to deal with him leaving was going to have him back because he didn't like the wages in England was some kind of pipe dream.
Looking at Atalanta's jersey and their sponsor, for a second, I thought I was watching Napoli...... Atalanta, nuove maglie con Acqua Lete main sponsor: le scaramanzie sullo scudetto. Luca Percassi: «Sì, Djimsiti piace in Qatar»
Rui wants to get back in the training squad, apparently he is considering involving the players association.
