Cheddira had a good season against us, but spent the middle third of the season with limited minutes.

He will have to go somewhere else, we wouldn't leave him on loan to a Serie B team, I don't think.

He’s perfect Serie B quality. Won’t be surprised if management will want to ship him back to Bari who are in desperate need of reinforcements. Doubt he’ll want to go there though

Sky reports that up until now, there has not been any formal offer for Osimhen. Nothing from Chelsea or PSG.

Rai reports that Conte phoned Di Lorenzo personally and that the call went well. I think the Di Lorenzo situation will be shelved until after the Euros.

Fabrizio Romano says that while Napoli were open to the Osi-Lukaku swap w/ money, Chelsea are not. We are only entertaining this deal because Lukaku is one of Conte’s boys. IMO a deal with Man U with Hojlund is better for us

Conte to Napoli is pretty much done. They’re saying he has been on calls with Manna all week already trying to program the season. A couple of things from different articles I’ve read:

    - Conte might consider switching to his original system of 4-2-4 that he played at Bari and his early days at Juve.
    - Conte really wants to build around Di Lorenzo and Kvara. He does not want the club to sell them. A formation change suits Kvara better than trying to force him into a 3-5-2
    - There are rumours that Di Lorenzo already had an agreement with Juve.
    - Manna has already had talks with Buingiorno’s agent that went well.
    - Some names being linked with us are Cambiaghi, Retegui and Lorenzo Lucca.
    - Spanish sources report that Napoli are inquiring about a Norwegian striker name Strand Larsen and Guerra from Valencia

Hopefully as a replacement for Simeone and not Osimhen?

Winning the scudetto and Spalletti leaving right after I'm sure hindered and took a lot out of the club last year but Antonio Conte will know how to pull them out of their funk.

I hope he does well at Napoli.

Di Lorenzo’s agent has been shooting his mouth saying that Di Lorenzo will no longer play for Napoli regardless of whether or not Conte is the coach.

Napoli sent him a reminder that Di Lorenzo has another 4 years on his contract ….

I love DiLo, but if the price is right, he should be sold.

    Positives of Conte:
    1. He would get rid of any of the locker room drama that went on this year.

    2. We will be the fittest team in the league.

    3. While it’s easy to scout Conte’s formations, they’re still difficult teams to break down.

    4. Conte’s chaotic passion matches that of the city.

    Negatives:
    1. He demands a lot of from the players, but also the club president’s finances. He will want big investments from ADL who is notorious for being stingy.

    2. He’s always looking for the bigger better thing. He will drop us the moment something better comes along

    3. His teams are sometimes very hard to watch. Not always good football and even worse when he’s losing.

    4. He very often does not take accountability. When things go wrong, he is the first to throw the players under the bus, then the president or DS.

At the very least, he will rebuild us.

No suprise he's talking 4-2-4, but can he make it work? For me it's a smart solution. Raspadori finally in the 11 as he always ought to have been.

I'm not sure where she is from orignially but I read Conte's wife, Elisabetta Muscarello is ecstatic and looking forward to living Naples.

When your spouse is happy, that is also a good sign.

    Happy wife....

    Happy life...

No although a lot of people may think that, she didn't have to say anything if she really didn't like it.

Not too many coaches wives speak up bout the towns their husband coaches in.

Actually, Wayne Rooney's wife did say she hated living in Washington DC and went back to England.

I fear no club wants to pay 100 mill for osimhen, but would gladely do so for Kvara because he has a lower salary and imo the better player.

I'm getting worried for the whole osimhen situation. Part of me believes no big club would want to pay 100+ mill and a high salary for a player that cannot play basic football. However osimhen is the biggest footballing name in Africa so I hope potential buyers value the commercial gains he brings. Osimhens strength is scoring the goals no other player in the world could score due to his tenacity - but who would buy him if Chelsea are out?

I think PSG is an odd one because I don't see Enrique wanting a player like Osimhen.

Arsenals board might pick him up, but I doubt Arteta will ask for him.

    Tottenham can't afford him.

    Who would buy him?

If Osi’s agent wants to move him, he needs to get to work.

Also the club has to realize that only the Arabs have the money ADL is looking for. And if Osi wants to go to England, Napoli need to be open to player swaps as well

Neapolitan journalist Luca Cerchione reveals that the only way Lukaku comes to Napoli is if Chelsea agree to a loan. If a deal can’t be done, we’re looking at Gyokeres
