Guys we are going to to be so bad. I can see Spal quitting or getting fired before December.

We have an old squad, lot of players leaving for free and contracts running out.

Now we are selling Manolas for 7M and bring in Juan Jesus?

I read about a better deal for Manolas, supposedly somehow similar to how we bought him.

    what a joke

Manolas hasn't been the best for us, but he came as one of Europe's best CBs, and he only just turned 30.

It seems the issue is his salary. That will save 4 millions euros a season and I think that works out to 20 millions euros in total. And as much as I like him, as a compatriot of mine, his muscle injuries are too frequent. Maybe it's for the better because there's been debate about whether he and Koulibaly truly work together. Plus he was brought in mainly in the event Koulibaly left, which seems likely until at least next summer.

If it means landing Emerson and Rugani on loans, then Napoli should do alright in the end. But those remain ifs. Signing Juan Jesus as a replacement only would leave Napoli in bad shape.

yes. this is our trademark. Only Ancelotti was allowed some influence, and he let the best midfielder in the world go on his first day at the job.

I highly rate Manolas. Get rid of Mertens or a few others.

He is a fraud. Biggest spender in PL last season and finished 10 with Everton.

It depends. Rugani and Emerson are not a good trade off. Right now Olympiacos are denying interest.

No. The kits this year are self produced. They are designed by Armani. Napoli is doing this to get more profits from sales. Could work in the long run

But still, the kits themselves are plain Jane. And the Lete is still red making it an eye sore

So we are making our own kits ? I wonder how this will affect buying the jersey outside of Italy.

I'm a big fan of the White/Gold jersey. I just wish Lete was written in black there.

Insigne is a real Neapolitan. His club needs financial help, needs to lower wages, and he asks for even more. I know the general arguments against my opinion on this matter, but I do not rate them. Just because it's all about money these days, it does not mean we can no longer have souls. I am less greedy than that, and I have nothing at all. Well, I guess it is true what they say: "How fortunate the man with none." I'd revive Diogenes if people today were capable of listening to selfless arguments.

The bigger issue is trust with ADL. Insigne can get paid high wages for 2-3 years somewhere else like Qatar, US, or UK. ADL has to give Insigne reason to believe that Napoli will value him with a long term role at the club. Insigne has to be sold on the idea he will make more money and have more security over a longer period at Napoli than he otherwise would have if he leaves.
