Why not? According to history, it'd appear that Blackbeard was actually one of the very few people alive back then who was not a racist. It's like in that book that I read a long time ago, Huckleberry Finn, where Huck's foster mom wanted him to come back with the black man that he's taken with himself to run away from that life of bondage. She would inform him by means of a letter(I think, it was quite long ago) that it is against God's will to free black slaves and that he will go to Hell if he refuses to come back and take the slave with him. Then in one sentence from Huck's mouth Mark Twain managed to successfully point out to the people that one 12 year old boy can have much more good sense in him than the entire government and all of the people governed by it. That sentence was: ''Alright then, I'll go to Hell,'' said Huck, and then he threw the letter into the river.

Now some people argue Napoli are one of the top 5 best teams in Europe. I hate it because it's not true we have too many direct flaws that top teams will look to expose.

We still need a new RB badly, Leno would be nice too.

 

What I don't like about waiting to qualify before making another transfer splash, is teams are now more hesitant to sell since they will have minimal time to replace. I hope they add another piece, but wont be surprised if it isn't till January

Our most pressing need is for a RB.

If Keita Balde wasn't such a prick, I think he'd be a great signing. Especially with Mertens looking certain to leave next season.

We are rumored to be offloading Zapata & Tonelli to Sampdoria. Can we get Schick?

Pavoletti is being sought after by Sassuolo & Cagliari. Sass has made money from Defrel & Pellegrini. I've read Cagliari want him on loan with no requirement to buy. This is a terrible deal since next year he'll be a year older and be even harder to sell.

I haven't hear much about Strinic. He'd be an awesome player for a Europa cup or mid-table team. Probably better than Rui.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we make no more signings this window. We would still have a really good shot at winning the title -- that is, if we don't have any injuries. We arguably lost the title last year when Milik & Albiol got injured in October.

 

Yeah , I don't think you're top 5 , but your style of play is top 2-3 . Beautiful to watch.

Haha there's no coming back for me. I'm a draft enthusiast/ apologist at heart , and the homegrown Romans coming through the academy is what sold me. Totti to De Rossi to Florenzi to Pellegrini (hopefully). Pretty special in my opinion.

But yeah , I also dig Napoli.

I'm sure if I had Italian roots , that would be forbidden.

Although Mertens is 30 now, he is undoubtedly one of the most underrated players on the continent. His performances are electrifying and tenacity on the ball - I saw him live when I lived near Eindhoven for a period of time and I thought "this guy is going to really good". Its funny because at PSV he played mostly on the wings and would live in the spaces between the opposing full back and the touchline - at Napoli he's become a central attacker who can roam wherever he wants.

I don't see him slowing down anytime soon and I'm hoping for your sakes he has a career similar to Robben.

All-in-all Napoli is a complete team and they play some of the best football in the world. If the 'Partenopei' played in the EPL they'd feature on primetime weekday-evening matchups because they'd be the most entertaining team to watch in England - by far. That's what you get when you keep your squad mostly intact. I don't know if they're top 5 in Europe overall but they're definitely in the conversation for top 10 or even top 7.

If there's money to be spent I suppose it doesn't make sense buying starters right now which would ultimately disrupt team chemistry. A couple of quality backup players - preferably a young attacking player and wide-back would suffice,

 

They're starting the draw right now on uefa.com.. maybe it will be streamed on pornhub if we start getting fvcked really hard.

 

We avoided Barcelona because they're in Juve's group. Our pot is up next.
