I was just thinking today why don't we loan him from Roma (safe in the knowledge that they are willing to sell) until the end of the season and then negotiate with Cagliari at the end

you can't really play Esposito as a prima punta. He's either a winger or a seconda punta.

 

The problem is Cagliari won't agree to it. I think they are still bitter we didn't give them De Zerbi.

 

the new model is 4-3-3. a mediano is on the way. forget about any terzini's coming to napoli. i dont tihnk espositto will come.

Danny Szetela is going on loan to Brescia. He's an American midfielder who played in the U-20 World Cup. Really impressed in that competition. In any case, I'm thinking this may be the deal that lets us get Mannini now instead of in June.

Navarro still hasnt signed, he has a medical to pass on Thursday, damn, he better pass

 

My family accountant is a huge Napoli fan ... he's in his 60's so he's been there and seen that.

Anyway he said he's herd rumors that Giordano (Foward from that Maradona years) says he wants to be the next Napoli Coach. I don't know much about his coaching expirience so I'm not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing. But he was one hell of a foward ......

I wouldn't worry about that. He's been playing this season in Argentina and shouldn't have a problem.

Il giovane attaccante Massimo Maiorello (20) fa ritorno al Napoli dopo il periodo trascorso in prestito al Sibilla Flegrea (CND).

 

He's a part of our Primavera squad ... he was loaned out to a serie D team which would be a step up... he'll probably get loaned back out to a serie C squad if he did good.

 

So it looks like we may be getting Esposito today and losing Calaio to Genoa and perhaps Iezzo to Lazio on loan. I'd rather we loan out Gianello. That's a big burden to put on Navarro if he fails to come through we'd be in trouble.

 

I am liking the Santacroce Hamsik pic, if we get Esposito we will have a 'proper squad' (Sosa included)
