i know most u guys will totally diagree with me but id dont mind alll these foreign players....especially if there from uruguay and argentina......actually argentinians and uruguyans are exactly the same culturally.....getting more could be good for our team since we already have many it increases the team chemistry................ thats just my opinion even though development of youth in italy is gonna suffer i welcom these guys
I don't mind either, especially since it seems twice as hard trying to deal with other Italian clubs for players. I get the feeling Marino is getting dicked around, Cagliari for example, and he isn't one to take much riff. Looking abroad cuts the bullshit out of the picture because there's no competition involved, and the strength of the Euro goes a long way. One top of things, these kids are looking for a gateway into Europe, what better place than Italy and especially a fresh club with some of the most passionate tifosi such as Napoli? Maybe we could of gotten Viviano, but this kid looks also promising and has been playing well in Argentina.
Honestly, I don't care where they come from as long as they help Napoli. Yes, I would rather see a Napolitan in a position over a foreigner but ONLY if he's better. Yes I would rather see an Italian in a position over a foreigner but again ONLY if he's better. The best man for the job is fine with me, no matter if he's from NorthAmerica, South America, Africa, Asia, or Europe. That being said, there is so much talent in Italy and especially Napoli that we really shouldn't go abroad. But whatever ... if we become the next Inter or Milan with all Argies and Brasos then it's fine too..... i guess.
marino is building an all URAGENTALIAN CLUB! navarro reminds me of toldo. i saw him in action on goal tv. Hes very tall and intimidating in the area. I wouldnt be surprised if he stops every penalty. Caballero is another great player...once again coming from another italian immigrant country. When you look at marinos plans you can see that he choses players that will fit the schermo of the actual team. Mannini because of hamsik and caballero with gargano. And these guys are young and fast mother ********ers!! Lets see waht happens. Mike, could you remind the freinds from the forum waht is the RIOPLATENSES MODEL?
According to ciro venerato, santacroce is on his way from brescia. This would be our 3rd player from the club. i wasnt joking when i wrote that brescia is napoli's primavera. Speaking about primavera, i know that napoli's primavera has some good players.Marino should keep that in consideration. And now il punto sul mercato azzurro...
Napoli2000.com said there should be a final decision on Esposito today or tomorrow. Seeing as the transfer window closes on Thursday, this doesn't amount to much news. I'm much more interested in seeing if Mannini is coming now or will we have to wait until June. Given our plight, I'd really like to get him as soon as possible.
ok but i think people are fed up of me talking about argentinians and uruguyans,, lol last time i promise from wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rioplatense_Spanish Rioplatense Spanish (Spanish: Castellano rioplatense, literally "River Plate Spanish") is a dialect of the Spanish language which is mainly spoken in the areas in and around the Río de la Plata basin, in Argentina and Uruguay. Rioplatense is mainly based in the cities of Buenos Aires, Montevideo, and Rosario, the three most populated cities in the area, along with their respective suburbs and the areas in between. This regional form of Spanish is also found in other areas, not geographically close but culturally influenced by those population centers. Rioplatense is the standard in audiovisual media in Argentina and Uruguay. another interesting thing to note http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_people From about 1880 until the end of the early 1900s, the main destinations for Italian immigrants were Brazil, Argentina as well as Uruguay. Brazil was in need of workers to embrace the vast coffee plantations, and Italian immigrants became a main source of manpower for that country. Argentina and Uruguay were rapidly industrializing and attracting immigrants for work and settlers to populate the country. Italian immigration heavily influenced the culture and development of these countries (Today, Argentina and Uruguay have the highest national concentrations of Italians outside of Europe - about 50% of the population in each country). The migration of Italians has at times been very large and has influenced much of the world. It can be estimated as many as 70 million people of Italian origin live outside Europe, primarily in the Americas. Large numbers of Italian descendants are found in Brazil (25 million people of Italian descent), Argentina (18 million) (out of a population of 36 millon), the United States (15 million),[17] Canada (1.3 million) and Australia (1 million). F.Y.I. out of the 3.3 millon people in uruguayI 1.5 are of italian descent
lol alright enough about the rioplatenses for a second lol...say napoli is minutes away from signing Santacroce as of today he sould be our player we shall see http://tuttomercatoweb.com/?action=read&id=91162
Rullo is being a ****** he could jeprodize this deal......why doesnt he go play for a team where he can actually become a starter, even though theyre in B
Rullo should just go out on loan ... if that's an option. We should loan him out for thre rest of this season and maybe next season.
Goal.com is reporting that the Santacroce deal is done, he has signed for 5 years and he said he can't wait to start playing for Napoli. Rullo refused to go (which I don't understand, he would've been an automatic starter at Brescia) so he will not be going anywhere.
Santacroce is a good addition. Rullo should go out on loan, but right now we might need him with all the injuries.
yeah I read it, he rates him really high. Don't forget he also rated Hamsik high. That's a good sign.
i think Marino has done a decent job this window, maybe the last summer was a bit early to but lots of players, maybe our season starts now?
Signing 3 good young players during the January transfer window must mean they're serious about getting results in the near future. If we're dropping over 10mil in January, how much will we spend in the summer!? DeLa must be doing well with his new movie, and I have a feeling Dino has his hand in the business too but we just don't know it. Dino is loaded.
Navarro is a good signing so is Mannini. However, we need to resolve defensive issues more so than a goalie issue. I like the signings but I think we missed the mark with navarro.
We just got Santacroce. Iezzo might have a serious knee injury, and Navarro is a big kid who was being looked at by River and other good Euro teams. We got him at the right time!
Realistically, I have a feeling Huntelaar is going to be the big summer signing if they're going to throw out some big money. Barzagli is def. possible and if Fabio wins the CL I can see him coming back. Messi isn't going to happen unless Barca starts falling apart. Ronaldihno departure might indicate the start of Messi's captaincy for them.
