Sorry for the delay. Ive been bogged down by a move and other things and the person responding to me was sick for a while. Anyway, here is what I have. In order to start up an officially recognized club, we must get in touch with l'AINC (Associazione Italiana Napoli Clubs). They have a website which is www.ainc.it but is still in progress and doesn't have much info. To make a long story short, you fill out a sort of form, pay a yearly fee (not sure how much it is) and get recognition. Benefits of recognition? Nothing really, except knowing you are recognized as an official club. Hey guys, whatever happened with this? I was excited reading through all these posts only to find the last one from many months ago!! Just cause they are going to spend another year in C doesn't mean we can't still do this. I would definetly be IN! Especially after today's Trofeo Moretti win!! Is there any updates on this since March, or did everyone pretty much just move on to other things?
Wow, I was thinking about what happened with this today before the Birra Moretti tournament today. Basically we figured it would be too hard to do. We would need to get approved by a board in Italy. Also we have to pay them. We would need to set up shop.....costs money. We would need to get people 100% committed to it. We dont have the infrastructure or the people to do it. If someone has an idea though, it would be damn cool. I kinda want to have a Napoli Supporters Club Membership Card.
Is there some reason why some Napoli fans couldnt just start a webgroup or message board somewhere to keep each other informed of matches, news, etc and talk about their passion? I realize thats sort of what this forum is, but I was thinking perhaps a bit bigger.

The problem is, we can't go ask for a forum and then see it go dead. It was the same situation with the Palermo forum, and now, it gets little traffic.

Hey where in Jersey are you from? I was born and raised in Paterson now living in Hamburg. I played for the Hillcrest Ball club soccer team when I was a kid and we were sponsored by the Roma club in Paterson. I'm pretty sure both are still there. What team do you support? I'm an Inter fan.
