Supposedly he's back to training with the main group. Conte seems to be considering changing formations, which would make room for Folorunsho on the field.
I'm not a regular on the Napoli threads, but I've been watching Napoli every week hoping for Raspadori hattricks. So, I'm interested enough in the team, and I want to ask what you mean about changing the formation. What do you think the starting XI formation and line-up should be, and for what reason(s)?
With the new midfield additions, where would they fit into his current 3-4-2-1 formation? He didn't purchase them all to sit on the bench as subs for Lobotka and Anguissa. Maybe he will rotate them on a game per game basis while actually sticking with that preferred formation of his, but it would seem like a waste. Either way he does have strategic options but it's always best to have a main starting 11.
Is this a troll? Vlahovic is still only 24 and valued at 63 mill. Yes he was bought for 90, but so was Hojlund. We have Lukaku, who is still a question mark. Other than Lukaku our forwards look close to serie b level.
Vlahomic a wannabee ibrahimovic. He doesn't have 5 percent of the skill or personality. Prime zlatan would score at least 30 in serie a
It has got to be said that if Conte has done nothing else so far, he has brought back a certain amount of excitement. We have a change to get ahead of Juventus today, and I expect it to be taken.
Our midfield and defence is still unstable as f though. We have been getting away with it in the two wins. Basically Rahmani is not good enough to cover the mistakes lobo and Anguissa make at times, whilst lobo and Anguissa are terrible at coming back to help and they get outplayed easily. I think thats why conte wanted gilmour. Mctominay suffers from the same disease lobo and Anguissa do, of forgetting they also have defensive responsibilities
Going alright so far. I was hoping we could find a way to sweep the early season games but nine from four wouldn't be bad.
We didn't record three wins in a row in the league all of last season. Inter dropped points so we are still at the top of the table tonight, but Udi and Verona haven't played yet this week. Next week at Juve...pray to drop 4+ goals on them.
I saw the highlights the team is starting to play Conte ball… look at how we are constructing goals now…!
It was far from perfect, but a win is a win. We have to be very careful when it comes to confidence, because once again the team was ready to lose it after getting ahead. However, with the 2nd goal came confidence, and then we were on a rampage. We need grit and confidence. The skill is there.
I think they can get level on points. Verona would need crazy goals to get ahead, like +4 if I remember right.
Yeah, but it is still a possibility. Also, I thought, for some reason, that the match counted before the score.
That might be right. They were saying head to head points was the initial tiebreaker in the Italy Women's league thread, so it's probably the same. Both of those games should be competitive.
