Without kvara this team would be around 10th. He is the only one capable of progressing the play in our entire starting 11. Normally midfielders should be able to do that, but we have anguissa and mctominay in those positions while lobotka is too far back to do much. I miss the old lobotka under spalletti that actually did run through lines with the ball

We are such a shit team. This team is massively outdated and lack a modern touch. We play without urgency, every time we win the ball, even when we break play, you know the ball will eventually go back to Meret or a defender so we can build up slowly from there. The funniest thing is urgency in transitions is exactly what other teams do to us, and it is the modern way to play the game right now, heck udinese just scored a goal from a transition they played out with urgency. This was the exact same problem last season, so it's not just Conte's fault, even though he has not adressed the issue. I think we need to get rid of some of the core players that are the culprit of this low risk style and get some fresh blood in - players like politano, anguissa and di lorenzo should be replaced.
