I'm talking about the first half alone, we did not have the ball on their half in open play for the entire 45 minutes. I'm not even kidding. I don't know how we won this match tbh, but I'll take it.
I would rather call today winning luckily than ugly tbh, Empoli just didn't have the quality to punish our numerous mistakes.
Lately, as some teams have gotten much more competitive, I observe a great variety of games where the 'stronger' team wins in a 'funny' way. A millimetre offside, handball, or foul. Controversial decisions, where often even the fans of the teams that profited from those decisions cannot find it in themselves to condone them.
Inter still to play, but in the worst case we are still two points clear after this week. Very happy so far.
Spal coached him at Inter I think… also Conte pulling the reverse uno card and becoming a back 4 master instead of playing a back 3 is probably hurting Boungionos national team place but then again I’d rather have him fresh for is then losing in a national team game…
🚨 OFFICIAL: Bologna vs Milan game will be postponed to a later date.❌ This means Reijnders and Theo Hernandez will serve their suspension during their midweek game vs Napoli instead pic.twitter.com/P2KoLC27Q2— Italian Football TV (@IFTVofficial) October 25, 2024
Of course after they get blown out of the water they remember they are professional soccer players against us.
