http://www.milannews.it/?action=read&idnotizia=5594 here's my best translation: Milan seems to have finally found a tactical balance thanks to the return to two strikers, which guarantee milan is more dangerous in the final 16 meters, and with a midfield that is has both the quantity of work rate in flamini (who has shown a lot in his last few outings), along with the quality of pirlo who has re-found his form and the ever-present beckham, who will be returning back to midfield in a zone which is more congenial to his strengths, that of the right hand side of the midfield line. Behind the untouchable pato and inzaghi, who have 7 goals between them in the last two matches against atalanta and siena, will be seedorf, who is making his return to the lineup after injury. on the bench for the umpteenth time since being fit will be dinho. in front of dida will be janks and zambrotta on the flanks, with maldini and favalli in the center. bonera, like kaka (still not fully fit), should be on the bench along with kalac, antonini, senderos, emerson, sheva and the aforementioned dinho. so it sounds like they think we will scheme this way: dida zambrotta--maldini--favalli--janks becks--pirlo--flamini seedorf pato--inzaghi bench: kalac, bonera, senderos, antonini, emerson, dinho, sheva sounds good if so, and can always pull off seedorf if his fitness ain't quite there and put on dinho in the second half. also putting in antonini at fb and moving janks up as a winger if need some extra width. napoli is reeling, but they are always tough to play at home, especially given that they have a new coach. it will be tough, we will need pato and inzaghi to take advantage of the napoli back line when they get their chances
ID rather Dinho start then seedorf but the midfield / attack is solid. Defence with on the other hand with Dida in net...
just now reported that pippo might have picked up a knock, so if he can't go, then dinho would start, but i don't think this news has been confirmed.
Napoli will want revenge, especially after the "controversial" call in the first leg. Lavezzi and Hamsik is of course to be reckon with, but if we keep calm in the back and Dida plays decent we should be OK. I think this game might determine if we finish 3rd or not, especially with Juve and Roma match tomorrow
don't see why, that penalty was controversial, but kaka missed it anyways, so it's not like they can complain as it didn't change the match. maggio's red card was completely deserved, but yeah i'm sure they will be fired up
if inzaghi is out..start sheva up top n bring in ronnie towards end of game for him...id like a pato sheva seedorf trident wit ronnie in for seedorf if we need a gol or ronnie for sheva if we r winnin...
Super Kaka is back but will start on the bench. http://goal.com/en/news/10/italy/2009/03/21/1167502/adriano-galliani-kaka-back-for-napoli-clash
I'm a Napoli fan and I didn't think that the penalty last game was controversial.... espesially since Iezzo stopped the shit out of it. It did suck that we lost on an own goal though. I think this game is going to be very interesting... we have a new coach, Maninni is back (haven't won a game since he left in January), Datolo (our jan. signing) will be starting finally... We lost Maggio and Gargano for the entire season.. but we have Maninni back to replace Maggio and Pazienza has been filling in all season so it's not too bad. Oh yeah ... and Napoli have not lost a home night game in over 3 seasons. Like I said, it should be interesting.
NAPOLI: Navarro; Santacroce, Cannavaro, Contini; Grava, Pazienza, Blasi, Hamsik, Mannini; Lavezzi, Zalayeta. MILAN: Dida; Zambrotta, Maldini, Favalli, Jankulovski; Beckham, Pirlo, Flamini; Seedorf, Inzaghi, Pato. se-pa-in
i dont wanna see seedorf he is in godawful form i'd rather see dinho, who gave some nice passes last week in the minutes he got
it's game time. i'm setting aside the brief i've been writing all weekend for the next 90 minutes plus stoppages. i've been waiting for this all weekend.
If Seedorf is not cutting it, rerplace immediately with R80, not wait for second half. Good cross by Pato
