Honestly what has he done? 2 wins in the last 7 games. Gattuso was not worse and when he had a fit squad he finished the season very well.

It is about the personality of the player, about whether his own pride, money, and vanity are more important for him than Napoli. The answer is obvious. Hamsik at the same age left mid season. He was captain. How is that different. The blame is with ADL.
I think it was different because Hamsik was slowly but surely losing his position in the team, there was no general disappointment when he left. He had given his best years to Napoli and then he left. I did not like his decision as well, by the way, but I think back then it was already becoming clear that he was not an integral part of the team. Insigne is not in that situation generally.
We should drop him after the injury, the sooner we find a replacement, the better for us. We can't afford to integrate somebody after he has left.
