I'm just very happy that he put the nail in the coffin.

I never realized how fast he was. That guy was flying all over last night. Easily the MVP.

Pay the guy..he's bounced around the A-League and has been under appreciated long enough...PAY HIM, HE'S EARNED IT!

Very nice contrast for Namoff between the final minutes of last night's game and the final minutes of his previous home playoff game.

    Night and day!

Really, he had a monster game last night. I can't remember the last time he scored a goal.

I don't think there was a single person in that stadium who was expecting that! Truly a remarkable performance on his party. He definitely earned his keep.

That's because it was his first MLS goal.

I'm sorry, but you gotta give Dema some big props for that wicked shot that hit the post and the cross bar!

But anytime a defender scores, Yeaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!! :D

This is a guy that gives a 110% every game and has been rock solid this year. He never gives up and that's why he got that goal. I hope he's in a United shirt for years to come!

I mentioned this is the post-match thread, but just before the free kick, Namoff waved Gros out of the attackers so he could jump in.

I don't know if it was Nellie, the bench, or his own initiative, but it was nice to reward Namoff with a little time on the attack. Even nicer that it paid off.

In the last 4-6 weeks, Namoff's confidence has been up, you can see it in his going forward.

Absolutely, he is a much improved player, and I think he has played into Piotr's system well. And for sure Dema's shot was incredible!

Namoff deserves a pay raise next season. A big one.

I just watched the Bryan's goal on MLSNET. Namoff ran through at least three defenders AND Moreno AND Eski to get to the rebound. All the players were caught watching the ball, but Namoff had the presense of mind to keep charging the net.

No brainer. I believe Namoff is out of contract, but his pay raise should see his contact at least doubled. I mean Prideaux is making almost $70,000; Namoff is worth that much against our cap.

Darn straight he needs a raise. If he has to resort of that kind of stuff to earn a living. ;^)

Seriously, he was at all of the community soccer camps this year that I went to (my kids and I went to three). I assume the players who show up to those things are mostly the ones that want to earn a little extra cash. Considering how much of a contribution he makes to most games, I'd say he definitely needs a big raise in the off season.

I think, should we get another home game this season (lets go Revs!(today only! ;) ),
some sort of Namoff banner is in order.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed that he didn't get an official assist for it. I guess technically, the crossbar was the assister.

I was at the far end of the field...couldn't see too well. When I saw him kick it, I was fairly certain that he had actually made the shot.

He'd still be a bargain at 60k, which would be over double what he makes now.
