    Great team!

I would love to see that starting team...a few things won't let it happen.

Scotti - Tabarez has a hardon for him (justified as he's played well) so either godin or fucile will make room for him.

Orteman - Has never been part of the squad. I can't believe this. He should have been called up from his time at Idependiente already!!

Cebolla - If he is playing and fit...I Agree...but he is inqualified to play for the national team until Penarol stops 'declarandolos en rebeldia' which might happen soon as paco and damiani are best buds now. If tabarez wants more mettle...look out for gaciomazzi, maxi pereira.

Perez - I think he is injured and not playing much. Anway, this is a position with a lot of options: gargano, the penarol 5s, etc. (dont call garcia, he is too old)

Bueno - Again, I think he can't play...but we'll see. I think this 9 position should be filled by whoever it is that is best in form. Straight up. The candidates will be :
    - Bueno
    - Suarez
    - Abreu
    - Chevanton
    - Vargas
    - Vinieri
    - CAvani
Whoever is best in form...take them. ex. right now, Suarez is the most in form.

The other 2 forward positions are untouchables....Estoyonoff on the right offers the type of play that cebolla does on the left and is irreplaceable. Forlan is the only top guy that is playing regularly and has always played well on NT.

I think there are keys to this team. Diogo is playing spectacular and has to be starter. Fucile is very interesting and we can see him on the left or up front in midfield. Lugano is the captain. Godin isnt guaranteed...if Caceres has a good Libertadores....watch out. Scotti is the comodin in defense and midfield. We have a lot of 5s of the same level but we don't have the next Garcia. Orteman would be an awesome addition. Cebolla playing well is great...remember last copa america! And I think up front the key is performance.

Ojala!! El grupo es una papa.

Pablo Garcia is still the captain. No one can touch him yet.
I wish we get Bueno and Cebolla back.
Bueno is the smartest "in the box" player we've got. He's nuts but he's good.

    How about this:

    Carini
    Lugano, Godin, Caceres
    Perez, Garcia, Cebolla
    Recoba
    Estoyanoff, Bueno, Forlan

1)Lugano is the captain, Garcia is not playing well, I love the guy, but we have many (5) that are playing better at the moment.

    2) I agree w/ u cant wait for Bueno and Cebolla to get back

    3) Dont think so, remember Tabarez likes the 4-3-3, i dont see recoba in his plans, and more importantly are we willing to give Recoba yet another chance, he has been hurt all year, I beleive he is injured right now, i think its time we move on from Recoba.

    Titulares

    -Carini
    -Lugano (El verdadero capitan celeste)
    -Godin
    -Diogo
    -Fucile
    -Gargano
    -Orteman
    -C. Rodriguez
    -Estoyanoff
    -Vargas o Bueno
    -Forlan

Cavani y Figueroa ...

    V.Sanchez (Toluca)
    Abreu (Monterrey)

There is 24 players, so... probably someone injury can make it more easy for me. The only weak position in that list is the left back with only D. Rodriguez playing there often. No more goods LB's here, I dont like Lima (Danubio), but probably some CB can play good there (in fact, I should love see Uruguay playing with 4 centerbacks in the defense line with only a defensive MD and the others two MD that do good in both sides, like Varela y C. Rodriguez)

    My Eleven:
    Carini
    Valdez
    Godin
    Lugano
    Rodriguez
    Arevalo
    Varela
    Rodriguez
    Estoyanoff
    Cavani
    Sanchez

Recoba in the last 20 minutes

22 players was the limit in the last event in Peru, so, probably only two GK and not three.
