So many to chose from, but I think Roswell is for me. The events there could change the whole world, proof that we are not alone would have a major impact on the world as a whole. Not to mention the religious aspects that would be brought into play.
Ooh... good choice. Right now I'm on a big ass roadtrip and expect to be in Roswell in the next couple of weeks. I'll blow the lid right off this thing. Okay, so I probably won't. Sue me.
Greatest conspiracy ever...not sure about that one. But the greatest one is recent memory is how Dubya got "elected" and then "re-elected". And like Matt's choice--bonus points for being real (unfortunately).
The biggest conspiracy is Iran not receiving its due credit for inventing everything. They even invented conspiracies, for crying out loud!
The Jesuits Sank The Titanic And Plot World Domination Which is silly since we all know there is a Jewish Plot for World Domination
WE'VE GOT A WINNER It has to be the no call against Germany in the last World Cup. They call the penalty and we are on our way past the Germans.
Beat me to it. Nothing comes close historically or in scope. From the Nazis to the Middle East and from the Middle Ages to just this past month with Kazakhstan "denouncing" Borat.
There's a nice little theory about the royal familty here being involved in the jack the ripper murders. One of them (this bit is fact) used to regularly pay for the services of east end prostitutes. Prince Edward I think it was. The rumour was that he got one of them pregnant. Being a caring royal, he got her locked up in a mental asylum, while the baby was shipped to France. He then had to dispose of her five friends who knew about the scandal (they all knew each other, with two living in the same house - which would be statistically amazing for a random killer). Being a royal, he did none of the messy business himself (hell, he probably had a servant who had the sex on his behalf too), but instead instructed his coach driver to pick them up, and they were murdered in the coach, which accounts for the lack of blood where the bodies were found. All of them were killed in accordance with the freemason punishment for betrayal. Prince Eddie, and the guys supposed to have done the killings, were freemasons. One of the murderers (royal physicians, I think) was also a painter, and he painted a picture of some shop mannequins, but one of them, towards the back, had what looked like its intenstines thrown over the left shoulder (part of the masonic ritual). A reference to "jewes" scribbled on a wall next to one of the victims, was also a masonic reference, and it was ordered to be scrubbed out by the chief of police, also a mason. It could be a pile of crap, but it's a good story
Yeah, Masons are evil. Not really. I can say that it's been extremely interesting to drive around the country and try to idenntify which buildings in random little towns were originally masonic lodges. Some of them are very ornate. Others, not so much.
Princess Diana's death. The Royal family set it up because they think Diana was a shame to the family.
