    Reggina 2, Brescia 2

Nakamura's free kick goal in the 81st minute saves a point for Reggina against Roberto Baggio's team. The Japanese midfielder now has 3 goals in 4 Serie A games - 2 PKs and a free kick. No more details available yet on how he played otherwise.

yeah i heard that was a pk at 81st min. so his 3 first goals all came from pk. i don't think there are many who did that before.

    when will the team anyway?

I heard there's a japanese word "Hisshou" ("Go for win" roughly translated ) in Baggio's captain mark. For Brescia, Stephen Appiah was effective player of the game while the midfield overall wasn't much organized and lacked hard pressing as some of their regulars were off duty. reggina meantime as always lacked in good passing work. Keeping the ball way too long, meaninglessly using long ball, and not much effective defense. It seemed like they wouldn't score any goals unless otherwise given set pieces. nakamura wasn't much effective at below tops but seemed to play better at wing.
That's what I heard from one poster at japanese forum.

    I WANNA WATCH THE GAME!!

a report from soccerage. where the hell soccernet got the goal was off PK? maybe after all all they care seriously is EPL.
    goal
    Stephan Appiah 10'
    42' Alessandro Pierini
    Roberto Baggio (penalty) 45'
    81' Shunsuke Nakamura

SueB was correct, soccernet was wrong

Great freekick, 25 meters bending into 'keepers top left hand corner. Even though he got his hands on it, the 'keeper still couldn't keep it out because of the swerve.

Is it safe to say that Nakamura is already Reggina's best player?

he'll face tougher marking and pressing, and well be studied. i think that's where he's gonna be really tested.

Yes. In Italy, the reports of the game pitted it as a battle of two "fantasisti" (creators) - Baggio vs Nakamura. Don't think you can get much higher praise than that. I didn't see the entire game, just highlights, but I believe Nakamura is right now the only reason Reggina has the two points they have (and not just because he's scored 3 of their 4 goals).
