    yeat again

    PAULO COSTA (5)

This game was just a joke. The playing condition of the pitch looked worse than my old highschool football field and that's sad. The ref was brutal for both teams despite whatever Benfica supporters will say about 'Ref helped Porto...blah blah blah," Both Nacional goals came in extra time off of corners. One of them being an Own Goal by Meireles. Something is horribly wrong to give up a 2 goal lead in 5 minutes of extra time.

Derlei was flopping and diving like a fish? I think if you saw the match you might be thinking of Nacional's player Baiano. The guy would fall like he just got shot by a riffle if someone even breathed on him! However all the players involved in that match were slipping and falling all over the place because of the poor playing conditions.

Benfiquistas can enjoy our misery now, but just remember that what Porto has done the last couple of years will take Benfica MUCH longer to do as of now. Even with a win today you guys will be 3 points ahead. Not bad considering this is a Porto team completely rebuilding and going through their 2nd coach already this season. Wait until the ship finally starts to sail again. FCP will be back on top.

After scoring the first goal, everything was made to be an easy game for us, Nacional was awfull in the entire game just like us, but while they were awful we were capable of creating chances, so we scored the second, game over?!
No, our players were thinking in PSG since the minute they score the goal, Nacional was crap all the match, only to create danger in corners or free kicks, an own goal and a good goal from Adriano, gave them a good prize for their effort and us the deserved punishment.
The explanation for suffering goals like this, only Fernandez and the players know, but i suspect it has something to do with the average age of most of our players, U-23 players, Ricardo Costa, Pepe, Seitaridis, Bosingwa, Carlos Alberto, Diego, Raul Meireles, Quaresma, we ended the game with 6 of this 8 mentioned...
About the ref, he was poor, the goal of Diego, Derlei was offside, he didn´t touch the ball but he had influence on the goal, so bad call.
The supposed penalty made by Pepe over Adriano, firstly Adriano stops the ball with his right arm/hand, secondly he rotates and when he sees that Pepe have his foot in front of him he dives to gain the penalty.

but he wanted to touch, that's why, if he didin't move it would be a clear goal
